2009 Mock Draft #1

Post by Edwards Kings » Mon Oct 20, 2008 7:17 am

Let me ask a question of this panel of some of the finest fantasy baseball minds (snappy dressers and dancers, too) and anyone else who might want to chime in:

I took Aaron Harang as the last pick of the twelfth round (the 45th SP taken). He was a locked and loaded top pitching pick last year and suffered through a horrible 2007 campaign. Too early to consider him or just about right?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Too early to consider him or just about right? That seems about right. Although, the innings have built up for him, and I am not 100% comfortable with "forearm strain", corrected via rest only. He had a better September, but he is one of the names that I will want to throw out to Rick Wilton during his off-season chat.

Rick is always one of the guest chatters that I look forward to and try and clear my calendar for. Hopefully Greg lines him up again, so you'll be able to see his answer on the MB, allowing you to hold onto your drink tickets. ;)

I didn't get any further....something about me already being out of town for the week and she would be XXXXXX if she was going to let me XXXXXXX leaving XXXXXX to handle XXXXX...

Well, you get the picture. :D
