Any idea what time the draft would start?
Re: $150 Fast 50 round satellite DRAFT
I believe we will have to start this no later than 1pm or 2pm, to get done by 9pm with 45 seconds per pick max, though it will be done quicker. I would also hope we have a couple of breaks.

Really depends on who have for the 15 - as you can see already two who prefer afternoon/early drafting on Eastern time which makes it late morning to mid afternoon Pacific - fine with many of those interested (I am sure there are some ET folks who want to go into the night but that makes it tough the next morning)California Aces wrote:Any idea what time the draft would start?

I'm on the West Coast. My preference is as early as 8AM EST. But I would go along with anytime on a Saturday.

I've done this draft 2 years in a row. We had a Winner take all for SUPER entry draft. My experience was that folks moved at a rapid pace. There is no way this should take 8 hours. It took about 6 hours tops the past couple years. If we can start by 11AM EST the latest I'm in. I have something later that day so if you guys wanted to start later I'd be out.

Jason - adding you to the list.....I am fine with that time but this will be a process to get 15 all agreeing on thatRed Sox Nation- wrote:I've done this draft 2 years in a row. I am pushing this in all my SD leagues. Y'all have to see yourselves as mavericks, marking a new trail. As for Februarly 11th I can be flexible and do any times. WOULD like a 10 minute break though a couple times. We would also have to have an adminstrator watching closely. If a "wrong" pick is made, we could be five or six picks past it before it gets corrected. That would be my only real concern.

Re: $150 Fast 50 round satellite DRAFT
Keep me posted on the start time. I may be able to pull this off. Besides, this draft needs some personality anyway.
Is the understanding that there will be like one minute picks with the idea that we all make our picks as quickly as possible? And is it winner take all for a higher payout? Just curious. I'm good with whatever.

I like these ideas. It would help. Breaks every ten rounds or so would be good, especially to work on queues. What about chat during the draft, and has the issue with drafting from the right column queue been resolved on the technical end?davetniagarafalls wrote:I am pushing this in all my SD leagues. Que's seem to be working fine from the right side. i would say 10 mins every 15 rounds. that would be 1/2 hour total.

Definitely on board with these Dave - will have two ten minute breaks with timer set at 59 seconds if possible (or 60)davetniagarafalls wrote:I am pushing this in all my SD leagues. I will ask for the administrative help and hopefully Greg or Tom can do that

Re: $150 Fast 50 round satellite DRAFT
Saturday is best for me, but could make Sunday work as well depending upon the start time.

I'll jump in. The most convenient time for me is Sunday after 1pm (church in the mornings). If it's on a Saturday, I could remain married with a 4pm or 5pm start.

I don't know if Kirk LeValley is listed here, but he wants to do it. Add him to the list.
