Hey moderator Saxton - nice tie ! Do you think you can break up the Sack and Anthony pow-wow in order to get their 1st rd pick
LOL  I'm a big 3 stooges fan, I've always had a bit of Moe in me for sure! Here's a picture I have in my office at work

It was great to see Sack and Chip. Sack didn't even think Mikey was worth discussing, he's dead money! Now Lowy on the other hand, let's just say he has a special beatdown coming! 8-)

He seems to be more concerned about providing us with a knockout gal, shirts, and

Cracker Barrel. That probably cost you a pretty penny Cobb. I hear from Lindy and Mazur that Sack can put it away. Almost shut down the Imperial Palace buffet single-handedly

Hey Sack,
While you two masterminds were busy tanning together on the Outer Banks and exchanging pillow talk, I was busy finishing up yet another slow draft in preparation for this Friday. I am so ready for this thing that I'm even considering just drafting "bare knuckles' from memory in homage to Scott Fleming who suggested this as a league option. Now that's having a set. ;) You just be ready to bring it. Forget the books. They won't help you win the psychological game which is already in full swing and lulling you into a soon-to-be devastating false sense of security come draft day. Your only saving grace is that you're dodging a bullet by missing me in the Main the next day. Jupinka on the other hand isn't so lucky  . I love be underestimated. JUST FIVE MORE DAYS UNTIL WE SEPARATE THE MEN FROM THE BOYS! 8-)

P.S. I find extra amusing that it takes two of you working together to even have a chance.

Good one, Joey. Not often that someone throws out a Fletch line like that, especially to someone who gets it right away. Oh wait, I'm dating myself. Funny thing is, I was actually working at the movie theater when it was playing. Sad.

Amazed that Roy Ericson has anything to say. Does he realize that this Super League isn't an Auction? Give him some
credit for trying, but he is a fish out of water in this field!

Joe - these guys don't realize they are battling three top NFBC minds in this tussle. Check out the snapshot a wee bit
closer and you'll see the CHIP getting into the action. I realized you lobbed one up for the boys, didn't expect Jupinka to
be the one to come out swinging. Plus, the CHAMP speaks the truth as both Lindy and Bob Mazur will attest. By the way
champ, you are off your game. I beat Joe to the tab for breakfest and he promised to GET dinner next week. Rut-oh! :)

Massotto - you did CATCH a break in the Main. Like Joe said, dead money pal. All due respect, hope those slow drafts
cover some of your expenses. ;)

Where the hell is Lowy? Oh wait, he is waiting to close out the thread. Then again, he is probably trying to come up
with another Countdown suck-up to Greg. Somebody needs to tell the great one that by SPENDING as much money this year
for more teams than the Lunatic, James Christie, he doesn't get credit for any of these financial outlays in the NFBC Lifetime earnings list. Poor Glen, spotted him the #1 pick last year and it STILL didn't help. This isn't AAA - you'll need
to step up your game on Friday Mr Met! Just try to be there on time. This is probably the spot you would tell Greg something like "you asked for some smack talk, but these guys are just to good for me"........ Smootch!

Roy Erickson.........hahahahaha

Sorry Ken, but while the rest of you were obviously spending the night searching your attics for the 8mm black & white silent film archives from your youths that you've posted on this thread, I was getting some well needed beauty sleep in preparation for our encounter Friday night. I suggest you all do the same. Though you each seem a bit....ummm, let's call it overconfident heading into our Jersey showdown, just a head's up that I plan on taking no prisoners in this battle. ;) 8-)

Andy,
There will no controlling this lot. It's going to be a raucous, no-holds-barred, knock-down, drag 'em out bloodbath of a competition with professional trash talk mixed in. So just defer to me as we go to keep things on the straight and narrow and moving along. ;) ;) Besides, you need to be managing your assistant draft administrator who will need plenty of your guidance and tutelage.

Any further questions? Just ass-k.

Lins,
Nice of you to come out of your coma in time for the draft. However, you can't snipe sh*t when this is your weapon.

Thanks in advance for your donation this season. We all appreciate it.

Look forward to it Mike. I think I can manage her...tough job but someone needs to tell her what to do!

As for Saturday night...I drew the short straw, I am sitting in between you and Jupinka at the XII. I am wearing ear plugs so I dont have to listen to you and Steve bickering like old ladies all night:)

3 more days Massotto! Reality is going to strike you real soon and you are going to have
six months to endure the crappy team you end up with in your own league!

Treat yourself to a deeper tan today and maybe you can get your nails polished so
you'll look your best on D day. All hat, no cattle ............makes a nice team name
for you!

Just remember you ASKED for this beat DOWN! ;)

I anticipate this getting very ugly for Massotto. :o

You shouldn't be one to talk about ugly, Lowy. This aint your home league on Long Island after all.

In this photo: Glenn Lowy seated third from left.

You just be ready to bring it. After your great fortune of snagging Braun in the 1000 Slow prior to his supposed suspension, it's all been downhill for you since then. How are those early picks of Utley and Howard looking right now, X? Three days from now, it's time to pay the fiddler...and this one aint on your roof!

I will be sure to be there well-groomed and tanned just for you, Sack. I'm sure that's just how you like your men, but you have Joey as your pretty boy sidekick to make eyes with the whole night if you want. I will be focused on more important things...like sweeping up the floor of your "crumbs" after your systematic dismantling at the draft table. Just three days away now. Better cut back on those doughnuts. I can't put in for a 3X shirt this late.

Thanks for your concern Mikey, but I regretfully decided to give up my home league a couple years back after being introduced to the world of high stakes. I do miss it though. For the most part, no more fellow drafters sitting around the draft table frantically flipping through their 3-month old magazines because they're out of target players by the 3rd round. Luckily, I'm sure those sentimental memories will come flooding back in Mahwah each time I glance up at you across the table frantically flipping away.

Image
Mikey asking our assistant draft facilitator once again "They keep mentioning pitching, is that a position? Where the hell's my magazine???"

As far as the Utley and Howard picks, unfortunate news for sure. However, I'm confident that team will be fine. I have to ask you though, that draft took place a month ago. Why are you wasting your valuable prep time looking back at that? :? There's only two days left 'til the big show. Mikey, if you're ever going to add to that one slow draft win standing sadly alone on your resume, stop living in the past and start hitting those magazines hard!

Image

Get back to studying Mikey. Only a couple days to learn that there are pitching categories also. ;)
