ARZ OF Chris Young went down with a shoulder injury today, still not sure how severe...
Re: Chris Young
Didn't look really good and his reaction was even worse.

Re: Chris Young
I was very high on Young this year and hate to see this especially after his great start to the season... Right now they're calling it a shoulder contusion. MRI tomorrow. Really hope there's no further damage and he is back soon. Best hitter so far in April? Young is near the top of that list.

Re: Chris Young
I hate seeing any player go down, especially with the caliber of Chris Young, no matter whose fantasy team he's on. This is starting to look like football with all of the major injuries this year. Hopefully, this will be the last of the major injuries....
Re: Chris Young
I hope so. Would be great no more injuries and everyone compete with their best team out on the field.

Oh forgot to mention... Great piece on Chris Young this morning in Buster Olney's column. Talks about Young evolving as a hitter.

i have had him every year that he sucked!
and own him nowhere this year. he is a frustrating fantasy player and now owners have to wait on the news. as stated, frustrating!, whats that quote??," a leopard doesnt change his spots!"

On my Auction Championship team, I have Young...and Justin Upton.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Reports have him going on the DL today even if the MRI is promising.
Where is my mind?

Ligament tear, though it's supposed to be slight. Though you have to wonder how long it keeps him out and how it affects his swing and power when he returns.

Why do you care you don't have him on any teams.........

I drafted next to you in the nfbc xii in Chicago... Man I feel for ya having BOTH those guys! Hang tough. Hopefully Young back in 2 weeks. Don't worry about Glenneration saying it might affect his power and swing... I hear he's just a great fantasy baseball player, nothing more so what does he know?

unfortunately, injuries are part of baseball and part of the fantasy game too. All in all, the news on Ellsbury and Young could have been a lot worse.
Re: Chris Young
last year was a bad year for injuries and they already seem to be piling up this year
Gardner yesterday and Berkman tonight. Infante with a groin.
It seems like guys sit out games with any little boo-boo these days

Re: Chris Young
Infante? That's funny stuff. 8 days ago his entire 11 year career wasn't even a gnat on a horse's ass, now his day-to-day nagger injury is lumped in with ellsbury, gardner, and young.
Not hatin' here, just funny to see Omar with some new company. The clock will strike midnight soon for him.
