Shoot, the more I watch the Kid, with all that speed and power, I might have to up my estimate of 5 triples for this year to around 10. At least until he is done growing and getting bigger/stronger, when the 40 Hr power will be in effect. My son grew 2 inches between 20-22 and ended up 6-4. Roger Clemens didnt finish growing until he was 22. With all that is said about the kid, good or bad, besides 5 tool skills, he shows big time passion and heart. Like we all know, sometimes the once in a generation player comes along and here's hoping he keeps it all together. Hamilton was like this kid when he was 19/20, but he feel off the track bad and no telling what he couldve been had he not lost years 20-26.

Whats his ADP next spring? under 30 or over 30? After the Hosmer (Final ADP 29) debacle this year, Harper will probably be around 40 or so, but it all depends on the final numbers, Press Hype, NATS playoff run and coverage. If its all good for Him and Nats the rest of this year he could be top 20 or better. And Trout most likely will be right next him. So Gekko will have to pick between Harper or Trout.

Its all in fun Gekko, don't box yourself in. BTW the bet really makes no sense for RT. Bet him Trout has better numbers in 2013 than Harper, because odds are one of them will pull the standard 2nd year player crappola in performance, ala Hosmer this year.

box myself in? harper is hyper. zero chance i own him in any league next year. i'll put down 5K if RT thinks i'm jealous about not owning harper. time for him to man up (or not)

14 XBH in 29 games. 6- 2B, 4-3B, 4 HR. not a bad pace - about 80 XBH over 160 games. all in 106 AB's. Does'nt seem over matched at all. Wish I had him on more teams than I do. He is in the Big leagues to stay. barring injury.

I think its fair to say the kid is exceeding expectations at this point. He is blowing away the stats of any teenager in MLB history ever. If an NFBC draft was held now, where would he be going?

Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper delivered his first-career walk-off hit Tuesday, June 5, against the New York Mets in the 12th inning, and he was mobbed by teammates afterward.

Tony Conigliaro, Bob Feller, Mel Ott, and Dwight Gooden are all giving the    to that one...
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
