Good news is coming your way very soon, even in Canada!! We needed to get the split prizes forms and direct deposit forms in by Thursday of last week before we could pay anyone and now we are ready to pay you all. More details coming soon, but they will be mailed out within the next week.

We actually have a picture of Dan holding up the big check at the 2011 NFBC when we asked everyone to pose with the big check just in case they ended up winning it all. Dave did that as well and we were able to use that picture for his winning 2012 check. We'll create some magic with Dan holding this year's $100,000 check as well. Pretty cool to have the last two NFBC overall champs who participated in that photo shoot in Las Vegas two years ago now winning it all.

I forgot to mention that last night Dan Semsel was going to join us on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio as we introduced our 2013 NFBC Main Event champion to the masses. Dan joined myself and Tom last night and spoke well of his partnership with Kenny Norred and what it felt like to win our national championship. I'm happy to report that Dan's wife now has a new car thanks to his winnings!!

I'm also happy to report that Dan said he officially retired from the military on Aug. 1st and is now a proud civilian. Dan did four tours of duty over in the Middle East, including tours to Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. God Bless Dan.

Welcome to civilian life Dan. As they did last year, they will both be there for the First Weekend in Las Vegas to draft in the Main Event and they'll add another team on the Second Weekend. Dan and Ken won a pair of NFBC Main Event league titles last year, finishing 1st and 7th overall. Great job guys.

Check out last night's interview on your SiriusXM app. Dan was on at the top of the second hour, starting at 11 pm ET and he was FANTASTIC. Thanks Dan.

Let's see if these two NFBC CHAMPS can sit together so nicely this Saturday during the Alabama-Auburn game!!! Is it Roll Tide time, Kenny? Or is Dave's favorite college team going to knock off the No. 1 team in the country at home? Should be a fun matchup of Top 5 teams. Enjoy.

Ouch....that stings. Begrudgingly have to admit that was a helluva game.

BCS scenarios. Looks like an FSU/OSU national championship...whoop-de-doo . Unless Auburn wins, OSU loses...then FSU/Auburn . Or Auburn loses, OSU loses....FSU/Bama? Mizzou likely gets screwed in every scenario.

Meyer the Cryer and Ohio State with their running up the scores on the football equivalencies of St. Mary's School for the Blind, One-Legged Unwed Mothers in the BCS would be a travesty. FSU versus anyone would be a fun game to watch, and I think they deserve a chance, but not OSU.

I will actually care about the Big Ten championship this year. I am cheering for Michigan State. Hopefully the Spartans will cause Urban to have to change his diaper multiple times.

Auburn may need more luck against Missouri. They are for real this year.

I don't think there is anyone who actually thinks Ohio State deserves a shot at the title game, but if they beat Mich St, they will get in anyway, at least the BCS goes away after this season. For the sake of having a great National Championship game to watch, everyone should be rooting for Michigan State, so it can be what it should be, Florida State vs the winner of Auburn/Missouri.

I didn't want to just come out and say that was the best game, best ending, best ever, etc. I know I'm biased. But, it is being talked about all over the place now. Unbiased sources are asking the question, was that the greatest finish to a football game ever? The final play of that game is one that we are all going to be seeing for the rest of our lives. Even if you don't understand the depth of the Auburn-Alabama rivalry, you can't ignore how absolutely epic that was. War Eagle!

FSU will roll up whomever they end up playing. While OSU doesn't have the resume, if they beat MSU, they're undefeated in a major conference. And them getting in would make up for the times LSU got in with 6 losses, Bama getting in without winning their conference, etc. But yes, very glad no more BcS after this season. Until next season when #5 gets to cry about being shut out.

You got that part right. All those one-loss teams making their cases for why THEY should get the last spot. Of course, this will only work until the SEC (rightly) gets two or three of the spots for several years...then the other conferences will whine again and change the system again.
