Ha its my money! You aren't paying for my entry. Anyone who says they care about other owners, thats just ignorance.

There's a clear pattern of your comments, and it's the need to feel like you are running the show and bullying to people. A sad point of view for an adult.

Thanks for "ending" the discussion Pitch12. You are a waste of time here and in the draft room. And anyone that throws out "bully" in the context of a message board and isn't being explicitly threatened is a straight up p**** in by book.

KJ, I took this to mean Corleone has locked up top spot with all his other great picks. Of course I've always had a problem understanding the term "all but" since it seems to mean the opposite of whatever I think it should mean. Did I do that again?

Way to continually revert to name calling K.J. Did your parents not teach you any respect for others? You aren't nearly as important or intelligent as you think you are. Same goes for you J.D. You aren't bullies...you are keyboard warriors. Someone disagrees with you and you call him a pussy.. It's pathetic. God I hope you haven't reproduced.

1) Sometimes the obvious must be stated.
2) Respect is earned.
3) Have you made a single post in which you were not degrading someone ? You keep throwing stones yet every complaint you make could be applied right back at you.
4) Why are you obsessed with my perceived importance or intelligence ... that is classic inferiority complex speak.
5) You keep yapping after promising not to lower yourself ... your high and mighty strategy is failing badly.
6) None of us regulars are keyboard warriors, everyone knows where to find me ... every Spring and Fall in Vegas. We're not yellow-bellied stone throwers. The same goes for JD, Lowy, Gekko, Massotto, COZ and most other regulars.
7) Did I miss anything?

I bought Jansen in an auction DC a month ago. Picked up JPeralta with a late round pick. Hopefully, that's the direction LAD goes until KJ gets back... :roll:

I don't care if you are mean to me or not. Really don't care if you live or die, win or lose. I just feel sorry for how disappointed your parents must be. You are really a shitty human being. Maybe they did a crappy job with you. ..i don't know the reasons. Pure speculation. But whatever happened it's not too late to change.

I forgive you.

Imagine having a guy in your draft who runs the clock a full eight hours everytime, "just in case" some player developments happen during that window.

And not sure what sort of entitlement a person has to have to ask for a 'do-over' after they pick. Fantasy baseball is about 80% respect, and 20% money, and a move like that pretty much declares a forfeit on any respect you might have earned. If you're all about the money, there's easier ways.

Remind me to never enter a draft with Pitch12.

KJ,

It's just a waste of our time. This guy took it in the rear growing up and he has a lot of anger and the message board is the best way to release it. He can't play with the big boys so trying to get under their skin and insulting from his computer is the way to go. More importantly I am sure his donations are greatly appreciated! :D :D

Why do you keep responding if its a waste of your time.

Because its just constant bullying from people who think they own the world because they play fantasy baseball on a premium website. It's very sad. And it scares people away from playing. A bunch of you have probably cost hundreds of players because of your antics.

Reminds me of poker players. An enormous irrational arrogance. You sit on message boards all day and post comments. Leave your computers and go outside

There's that bullying word again. Do you have a black eye, is your freedom to be an upstanding citizen in society being restricted, have your god-given rights to free speech been taken away? Let me know when that happens and I will call the bully police for you.

Or is it just that your a*hole behavior is being called out for what it is and you don't like it?

Funny how the new guys get criticized for showing the (admittedly) same behavior as you all?
Can't stand your own medicine unless respect has already been earned (or bought)?

I think there are many who rarely or never post who are quite entertained by all the chest thumping and insults.

Face it YL and the others who won't back down from forum bullies, you're just showing them a reflection of themselves. Nobody wins, everybody loses.

DH, you do have the coherence of a post-head trauma Rodney King, so well done on the quote. I would've responded to your PM but I have no idea what you are trying to say.

On the advice of Greg A, I kept it in a PM rather than the message board but I'll explain it for all:

You said "Respect is earned" to which my response was "money is earned" but it's used to buy respect. Case in point, both you and MTM spend a lot of money here at NFBC and seem to be able to get away with saying anything without censorship. Mikey can rant like a drunken sailor and spew profanities at the people he dislikes or disagrees with but since he's "a card-carrying member of the Illuminati" he gets away with it.

Who would STATS rather see pissed off and leave the site? KJ and MTM or the newbies who stand up to the bullying and threats? Why it's not going to be the big spenders.

Great respect you've 'earned' there KJ/Mikey.

Make some sense to you Duke?

(yes I have head trauma) ;)

I'm in the same 4 Hour DC with Corleone. I am beyond impressed with how he's handled this. Class act all the way. I'm not sure I would have been as composed or gracious. The shame of it was the guy after him burned two and half hours off the four-hour clock. If he had communicated to the room that he would be gone that long, Corleone may have waited a bit before picking and could have heard the news about Jansen first...

Although Corleone did win the Trout lottery, so I guess we can't be too sad for him. ;)
Jeez Louise! I was just trying to give Corleone some props. :D My point was not to advocate for stalling to wait for breaking news; rather that more communication and consideration in the draft room would enhance what is already a great NFBC community and make the drafting experience even better.

For example, if I know the drafter before me will be gone for two hours, I can:

a) work;
b) play with my kids;
c) make love to my wife;

instead of:

d) stare at my computer or phone hoping that a little green dot appears...

disagree there DH. Mike and KJ "get away" with saying things as much as you and I or anyone else. GA and TK assume we are all adults and will conduct ourselves in that manner. On the rare instance where it gets to be too much, they will step in and if need be, lock a thread and ask us all to move along. But it matters not if it's you, ledbetters, KJ, etc venting/ranting in posts, the bottom line is the threshold for tolerance is actually quite high.
But if you want to go down that route, GA and TK are businessmen. MTM and KJ and others have brought in new games, and thus new players and of course, new money. Do they have a voice within the NFBC? most likely, but again, that's because of what they have introduced to the game. hell, it can be argued MTM doesn't get the amount of respect he does deserve for his introduction of new concepts and his ability to fill leagues on a whim! but i'll tell you what everyone else knows, no matter the question, statement, whatever, GA and TK will respond to you as if you were their only customer. doesn't matter if you spend $150 or $50,000. THAT is why us gluttons play every year!
