Robertson stats from suspended game
Robertson stats from suspended game
I'm fairly certain David Robertson stats aren't showing from the suspended game in the overall totals. My individual league totals show my team with 11 wins and the overall shows I have 10.

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Frustrating how it turns into a huge scoring clusterf$$$ nearly every time there is a suspended game. Go to bed last night thinking I am in 3rd place, and wake up and I am in 7th? Robertson game was back on Sunday. Why doesn't live scoring pull from the updated standings Monday morning? What are they pulling from? How do we know what standings are correct? Are the overall standings correct this morning? Is live scoring going to pull from correct stats tonight?

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Looks like the issue is non Robertson for me. Somehow my era got a about a half run worse overnight. Really frustrating not knowing what is accurate and what is not. Don't have time to manually calculate this stuff to see what is correct or not.
Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Just a guess but my ERA is very different between overall standings and live overall standings (3.495 v 3.303) As a Chris Tillman owner i'm guessing that somehow that 3 run error on Travis Snider that was changed to a hit is not being reflected in the live overall standings.Cocktails and Dreams wrote:Frustrating how it turns into a huge scoring clusterf$$$ nearly every time there is a suspended game. Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Good thought, but that is not it, or at least the sole problem, if it is part of the problem. I have 11 teams impacted by the incorrect stats, either in overall standings, or live standings. There doesn't seem to be a common denominator player. I only have two players that many times. One is piece of shit Zunino who obviously would not factor in, and my only pitcher I have that much(anderson) did succeed in throwing me off the deep end last night, but did not succeed in being a common denominator in this equation.
There is no rhyme or reason that I can identify. Strikeouts are the same in all cases of course, so while this mystery stat destroyer ruined my stats, he did not K anybody in the process. ERA and whip is affected. And in my case, save one rotowire, the other ten were very negatively impacted.
Would like to know which stats are correct, why they are different, and if they can be relied upon going forward.

Matt, I'm looking at your Main Event team right now and in the League Standings and in the Overall standings your team ERA is 3.495. Strikeouts are the same at 177. All of the pitching numbers are the same. Am I looking at the wrong team?mattjb wrote:Just a guess but my ERA is very different between overall standings and live overall standings (3.495 v 3.303) As a Chris Tillman owner i'm guessing that somehow that 3 run error on Travis Snider that was changed to a hit is not being reflected in the live overall standings.Cocktails and Dreams wrote:Frustrating how it turns into a huge scoring clusterf$$$ nearly every time there is a suspended game. No Sir. League standings and overall standings match. But if you go to Live Overall standings (through the scores menu) it is different. 3.303 ERA and I am 17 places higher.Greg Ambrosius wrote:Matt, I'm looking at your Main Event team right now and in the League Standings and in the Overall standings your team ERA is 3.495. Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
I hate the suspended games too, but the stats from that game shouldn't run until the game is completed. So in this case, Friday's suspended game wouldn't have any stats showing until it was completed on Sunday. Then on Sunday night those stats should have run in your league standings and in the overall standings. They just don't show up in Live Scoring on Sunday because they are part of Friday's games (if that makes sense in Live Scoring). I checked David Robertson's stats on several teams yesterday and all looked right. If you see something today that's not right let me know and I'll gladly look, but there are no unfinished suspended games at this point so everything should be correct.Cocktails and Dreams wrote:Frustrating how it turns into a huge scoring clusterf$$$ nearly every time there is a suspended game. Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Okay, let us tell IT to look at these Live Overall Standings to make sure they match with what we are showing in Overall Standings. There definitely could be a disconnect there and if so we'll fix immediately. But Overall Standings is correct. Thanks for the heads up and we'll look into Live Overall Standings further.mattjb wrote:Cocktails and Dreams wrote:No Sir. League standings and overall standings match. Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
I have Robertson started the thread I hopefully didn't start a problem. Maybe my observation can help your IT team. Monday morning my team stats in the league PT 10 AM Friday Las Vegas were correct specifically with wins I had 10 before games started. Once the games started league still showed 10 and the overall went back to 9. I got another win for 11 and when I went to bed I had 11 on the league and 10 on the overall. Wake up this morning and both showed 11. Something changed when the games started and final stats were tallied for the evening. I gained 15 spots once the win was tallied. Maybe that timeline will help.

I am not a robertson or tillman owner but mine are all matching (unfortunately).

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
FWIW, I think the problem for folks is the Live Overall Standings page under Scores. Or, at least, that is the problem I am having specifically with respect to BA and R. There seems to be a single AB, hit, and run that is not being accounted for there that IS accounted for everywhere else (i.e. Team Stats, Live Scoring, League Standings, Overall Standings). For the life of me I cannot figure out where the "missing" stats are coming from. If it helps, this is all re: my co-entry in Rotowire OC Lg 3264. And further re: OP, this team does not have Robertson though given the ensuing posts figured it wasn't a hijack.

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Okay, I think I figured this mess out. Be nice if we didn't have to waste time finding out what the NFBC scoring problems are.
Anyway, here is the deal. I am not sure if this is also affecting the offensive live scoring. I could probably check, as I know Lucroy had his statistics negatviely impacted and I do own him. Maybe a Travis owner can check on that end.
As for pitching, I am basically 100 percent sure stat changes are the cause. It is not just Tillman though. There were others I was not aware of, one of which inflicted major damage on some ERA's. Bloomquist had an error reversed in Paxton game, and it resulted in 5 more earned runs for Paxton. Cole had a beneficial change. I less hit and one less earned run. Brett Anderson one more hit and one more earned run on the 15th. And then ofcourse the Tillman situation. There may have been one or two more that I would not expect anyone to own, like maybe Danks. But all 11 of my impacted teams had one of those pitchers.
The other change, Collmenter on opening day was changed by one less earned run, but that one seems to be okay in the live scoring.
Obviously, NFBC needs to tie the overall live scoring to the overall standings each day. If those are the accurate, trusted statistics, then why is it not programmed to start with them each day already? Seems like an easy fix. And then I think the NFBC should list stat changes on the message boards, like the NFFC does in football. Then we can be aware of things like Paxton getting his already horrific ERA obliterated by 5 more runs. Between him and Tillman, the stat changes increased my ERA by .64 runs. So now I know why, and you can also understand why I was pissed to wake up to this huge drop in standings from when I went to sleep. Needs to be fixed immediately.

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
I don't know when these MLB stat changes were made recently, but I agree with Chad that we need to officially list them on these boards and on your team pages. There were definitely some huge stat changes made recently (Paxson's was huge) and I'm not even sure when that was officially applied. So I'll see if we can do this regularly like we do in the NFFC when Elias officially makes their weekly changes.
As for why these changes didn't take effect on Live Overall Standings, we definitely need to figure that one out. I would assume the two are synched, but something isn't adding up here and we need to fix it. We certainly can't have these two totals not match during the season, so we'll get it right and get it done now.
Overall Standings are correct. They can be trusted. Live Overall Standings should also be trusted, but obviously something wasn't synched when the stat changes were made. Thanks for solving this and we're on it now. Thanks all and sorry for any confusion on current overall standings.

Re: Robertson stats from suspended game
Okay, the discrepency between Live Overall Standings and Overall Standings was definitely the stat changes that were made recently. The Live Overall Standings received the same changes but they didn't run through at the same time. In fact, I believe they just ran this morning, so Live Overall Standings and Overall Standings should be synched today. Going forward, both will run through all stat changes at the same time each night so that we won't see this discrepency again. Thanks for pointing this out to us.
And we will receive all stat changes going forward and will post those as they happen on a separate thread. Many of the stat changes are minor ones that are changed the next day (like putouts or who is credited with the error), but we did see several changes this week that happened days later and were big changes for Starting Pitchers. We'll show you those going forward.
Here were some of the stat changes that were done recently:
Day of Game/Day of Stat Change
04/06 04/07 Pit Ari -1 Earned Runs for Josh Collmenter
04/13 04/14 Pit Min +1 Earned Runs for Tim Stauffer
04/13 04/14 Pit Min -1 Earned Runs for J.R. Graham
04/11 04/16 Bat CWS -1 Hits for Alexei Ramirez
04/11 04/16 Pit Min -1 Hits for Blaine Boyer
04/11 04/16 Pit Min -1 Earned Runs for Blaine Boyer

04/12 04/16 Bat Tor +3 Runs Batted In for Devon Travis
04/12 04/16 Pit Bal +1 Hits for Chris Tillman
04/12 04/16 Pit Bal +4 Earned Runs for Chris Tillman
04/12 04/16 Fld Bal -1 Errors for Travis Snider

04/19 04/22 Pit Sea +1 Hits for James Paxton
04/19 04/22 Pit Sea +5 Earned Runs for James Paxton

04/15 04/22 Pit LAD +1 Hits for Brett Anderson
04/15 04/22 Pit LAD +1 Earned Runs for Brett Anderson

04/24 04/26 Pit KC +1 Runs for Kelvin Herrera
04/24 04/26 Pit KC +1 Earned Runs for Kelvin Herrera
04/27 04/28 Pit Mil +1 Earned Runs for Jimmy Nelson
The big one was an extra 5 Earned Runs for James Paxton from the April 19th game and the 4 extra Earned Runs that Chris Tillman received. These were official scoring changes made by MLB days after the games played. It's crazy, but as you can see above some changes were made a week after the game.
Going forward, we'll update these more regularly so that everyone is on the same page. MLB doesn't publicize these changes like Elias does in football, so we'll try our best to do that here going forward. Thanks all.
