This year's Joc Pederson?

I think the 2nd half is going to be brutal.

I think he is a three-outcome (BB, K or HR) player like Adam Dunn. He may strike out a ton but when he hits the ball, he usually does damage. I think many folks would take a .220-.230 BA with 30 HR (or more?) from a SS. Can't see him keeping up the pace, but I'm hoping there is no big fall-off. I also can see him stealing a few more bases. We'll see.

He doesn't look like that type of hitter to me. I think the K rates will come a lot along with a more reasonable HR rate. Justin Upton might be a decent comp.

Pederson looks lost most of the time, Story does not even when K'ing. He swings really hard, but his pitch recognition looks way better to me. Also more of a line drive hitter. I think he'll be 260+ with 30/100.

jp= plays in LA ts= plays in colorado. the ball just doesn't move much when thrown in colorado- and when hit- travels farther. ts could be jp this year- but the stats will be much better. plus- he continues to bat second.
