NFBC In The FSGA Industry Draft Tonight At 7 pm ET
The Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association's Trade Conference is this week at the Linq in Las Vegas. The FSGA Industry Baseball Draft will be held tonight starting at 7 pm ET and will be carried live on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio.
Myself and Darik Buchar will be representing the NFBC team in the draft and we have the 9th pick in a 14-team field. We'll get through as many rounds as possible during the 2 1/2 hour broadcast and then finish up the remaining rounds in a slow draft format. Should be fun and interesting. Same NFBC-style format, 5x5 scoring with $1,000 FAAB.
Here's the public links to the draft board so that you can follow at home:

Wish us best of luck and here we go!!
I believe Ray Murphy/Brent Hershey from BaseballHQ.com are the defending champions. They will be tough to beat again, but we'll do our best. Here's the draft order:
1 Howard Bender, Fantasy Alarm
2 Josh Hayes / Ralph Rabe, Rotoballer Radio
3 Charlie Wiegert / Tim Jensen, RT Sports
4 Ray Flowers, SiriusXM Fantasy Drive
5 Dr. Roto, (Mark Bloom), Full Time Fantasy
6 Jeff Erickson, Rotowire Fantasy Sports
7 Jordan Paulson / Michael Lazarus, Yahoo Sports
8 Steve Gardner / Howard Kamen, USA Today Sports
9 Scott Fish / Greg Ambrosius, NFBC, Sportshub
10 Chris Towers, CBS Sports
11 Trevis Waters / Anthony Carson, DFS Karma
12 Ray Murphy / Brent Hershey, Baseball HQ
13 Anthony Perri, Fantistics Fantasy Sports
14 Stacy Stern / Rick Wolf / Glenn Colton, First Lady of Fantasy with Colton and the Wolfman

Good luck boys. Just don't let Jeff Luhnow run your team. LOL 9th is interesting. Might have the option of Gerritt Cole or Jacob Degrom, or just go with a top hitter. And your 2nd round pick will come quickly. 2 big hitters ?? One pitcher and 1 hitter ?? Good luck.

Agree. No idea why we have 14 teams (I don't run this league). We used to have 13 teams, which was dumber.
We started out with Francisco Lindor at 9 and Fernando Tatis Jr. at 20. Here we goooooo!!!

We got through 11 rounds last night and our NFBC team started this way:
Round 1 - Francisco Lindor (pick 9)
Round 2 - Fernando Tatis Jr.
Round 3 - Chris Sale
Round 4 - Lucas Giolito
Round 5 - Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Round 6 - Josh Hader
Round 7 - Nelson Cruz
Round 8 - Andrew Benintendi
Round 9 - Dinelson Lamet
Round 10 - Miguel Sano
Round 11 - Byron Buxton
Round 12 - Lance McCullers
Round 13 - Jose LeClerc
Thoughts? Again, this is a 14-team 5x5 league.

The Fantasy Sports Gaming Association announced its award winners today at its Trade Conference in Las Vegas. The NFBC/NFFC was a finalist once again for the Best Season-Long Fantasy Contest.
Last year ESPN won that award.
This year Yahoo won that award.
Bummer. We'll keep trying to do better and one day we'll be recognized as the best in the industry!!

The NFBC is already the best Greg. They can give it to whoever they want but how many people travel for hundreds of miles to go to live ESPN events ?? As for your picks, Lindor and Tatis for your 1-2 was terrific. Giolitto in the 4th may well be better than your Chris Sale in the 3rd. And getting Vladdy and then the best relief arm in baseball, Josh Hader, means you are well on your way to an excellent team. You gambled though on Sale in the 3rd. He could do anything. But good job.

Can't right click on them from my phone. Only work by copying and pasting them. You can't click through mobile. But work otherwise.

Trying to ride the Twinkie freight train after the Donaldson signing? Where do you think they will hit Buxton?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Probably 9th, but it’s his Age 26 season and he was worth the gamble here. Not sure anyone at this point has as much upside. We are going with young, upside players on this team where possible.Edwards Kings wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 4:21 pmTrying to ride the Twinkie freight train after the Donaldson signing?
