I'm looking over last years Main blind bidding...very nice grabbing Braun 3 weeks before he started playing!
What a grab! ($22) I wonder if that $11 bid that lost was DOUGHBOYS? To look at Braun's game log and look how good he was EVERY SINGLE WEEK! He did all that damage starting May 25th!!! Amazing.
Dan dropped Weeks in late AUG...just before his 9HR 10SB tear in the month of SEP.
Oh, what could have been!
~Lance Yep, truth hurts!

I apologize for being out of touch today, but it was a day filled with meetings and other happenings. It was a good day, trust me. But it was busy.
We are definitely headed toward 375 or 390 for the main event. We already are over 360 teams and this last week should be interesting. New York will come in to fill nine leagues, I feel it. My goal is to do all we can to fill each city perfectly, but we'll do the best we can to accommodate the first 390 signups if we get that high. Stay tuned as I know have e-mail and I can be DANGEROUS with e-mail.
Tomorrow I will try to be online more and discuss some of the satellite leagues discreetly. Be ready to join us on the boards for some fun discussions about that and more. Sound good?
And yes, I agree with everyone's assessments about the economy and the satellite leagues having an effect on our main event. But we're still on pace to top last year's total and the fun is just beginning. This should be an interesting finish.

~Lance Thanks... That's what you're forced to do when you draft Nomar and Tracy.
Got all the way up to #29 with him leading the way until Bonderman, Bedard and Shields blew up.
