Reserve Your Spot In The NFBC

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sat Feb 07, 2004 11:30 am

Several people have called me in the last couple of weeks to see how close we are to filling up, obviously knowing that they are going to sign up for the NFBC but not wanting to put $1,250 on their credit card any sooner than they have to. I understand that and would probably do the same thing. But I'm also worried that too many people will wait too long to sign up and may become part of a partial league that doesn't fill or will miss the cutoff date if we stop signups earlier than expected.

So here's a solution. If you definitely plan to compete in the NFBC and want to reserve a guaranteed spot in the competition but don't want your credit card billed until after March 1, just contact me at 715-445-4612, ext. 284 or e-mail me at [email protected]. I will fill out your application for you and guarantee your spot in one of the three cities. Then I'll process your credit card after March 1, so that you're not billed any earlier than you have to be. We don't even need a deposit, just trust between the two of us. Sound like a deal?

If this makes it easier to join the NFBC, we'll take care of that for you. Thanks.

Greg, Can I get re-imbursed 7 weeks of interest on my credit card since I paid 7 weeks in advance of March 1? Ok I'll tell you what, just give me the first two picks overall in my league and we'll call it even.

The one time I don't procrastinate....go figure.

Yeah, I'll pay you back in the form of an extra beer. How does that sound? Again, all I'm trying to do is make it easier for everyone who wants to compete to reserve a spot in the draft and if this helps, so be it. I just don't want anyone to wait until the last minute and then not get in.
