I am looking forward to drafting at the Bellagio next week. I'm curious to know how drafters this past weekend felt about drafting at the Bellagio.

Drafters in STL seemed pretty happy with their digs. Did the Bellagio lived up to its hype? I know the hotel itself is First Class, but how about the draft room itself. How did the room compare to previous years--Flamingo and the Rio ?

Thanks

You can count me as a fan.

Upon check-in, I asked for a quiet room and they put me in the Spa Tower. The draft rooms were a few feet from the Spa Tower elevators, it worked out nice.

Obviously it's more expensive to dine there, but that is something that doesn't bother me...I'm a foodie.

For the Main, I don't think the second weekend will be in the same rooms, but rather the larger ballrooms, but where we drafted was fine. Maybe a tad cramped, but nothing to complain about. What I did have to complain about was the sticker guy and I know I wasn't the only one. We were on a six hour pace I think. Greg took care of it and I really appreciated the fact he recognized there was a problem.

The sportsbook was packed and buzzing from March Madness, there were lines, but they moved at a good pace.

I didn't draft at the Rio, but have at the Stardust (RIP) and Flamingo. I know a bunch of folks I talked to this weekend could care less where they stayed and drafted. But, I really liked the Bellagio/NFBC experience this past weekend.

The STICKER guy.......... I like that Jules.

You need to sell Greg on the idea that my son would make an EXELLCENT "sticker guy" this weekend so that he can make a few bucks.

I promise you won't have any complaints about him! Ask Eddie Gillis, Kenny pocketed some nice change in Atlantic City thanks to Charlie & Tom.

Here's a taste of the Bellagio draft room...

Chimpat:

Yup, AC #2, that was my boy.

Appreciate all the kind words, he enjoyed taking part. EDDIE - his eyes are a big help drafting with me as well. I made a blunder in the third round that would not have happened if Kenny was seated next to me. That's ok - it was a great weekend.

KJ: As long as it is my son, not me, you'll see the draft board just fine! ;)

Jules, I owe you one for the plug! I can't lose, either he makes a few dollars or he lends me a hand! See you this weekend.

Kenny gets my vote. Just have Greg or Ryan call me and he'll get a strong recommendation. Kenny did a terrific job of working in Atlantic City.
