Or Greg might be a little busy with a child who just had surgery. Come on guys...
Wow, one voice of reason. All is good by the way.

We do believe that a simple technical error between human and new software can happen to any of you during the season, and Tom and I go out of our way to make sure that these situations are handled properly. A cut like this could happen to anyone. Again, other contests treat these situations differently and they have their reasons for doing it that way. We handle it more personally, but we're not dumb enough to let someone "game" the situation or be a wise guy with an illegal move. We just want the best teams to win each contest and in a national contest where so many leagues are competing with the same prizes but with different free agent pools, we try not to have one league gain a big advantage over another by a technical error. That's our reasoning for handling situations this way and hopefully folks understand now.

No correspondence to other league owners, or a post to the message board. That was the most disappointing part as we spent alot of time trying to figure out an appropriate bid and still have enough left for the season. Michael, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the person who accidentally cut Dunn in your league and contacted me after Monday night was too busy ripping me on the Grady Sizemore decision for two straight weeks to realize what he did with his team. Apparently he was too busy ripping me on the radio to realize that he cut Dunn and then asked me to correct the human error. When we did, then you got to rip me. So I'm being blamed by the person who blamed me before for correcting what was an obvious mistake that he said our software did. Everyone gets thrown under the bus except the person who started the mess.
Greg, after you guys did the change in the automatic drop, I would have said their mistake is their mistake. If Dunn would have been pulled from the pool, then that would have been fine. If that owner was that late in reacting, it is my believe it would be their loss. Sorry if it was perceived as ripping you, but 3+ days is excessive.
Tell him that next time you listen to him on the podcast comparing me to Vince McMahon and then asking for my help. And no we didn't send a leaguewide email, nor do we for the other reversals. I did answer your email on Friday, but maybe a league email would have been correct here. I know Vince McMahon would have done that. ;)
Greg I took a poll and only 2 of the 7 people who listened to that show thought you were anything like Vince Mcmahon. The more that guy talks the better you look. He wanted an advantage, you did not give it, he cried like a school girl over and over. End of story.

He said Sizemore was going to turn his season around. Then later he admitted he had a terrible season. But it's always better to blame Greg for that.

Project much?

well i obviosly accidently dropped ubaldo. as far as who i drp i would want it to be bonderman, but i am fine with my bid not even being granted. I do not want to gain any advantage by this, nor am i trying to.

brandon lyon was inserted into my lineup, because he was the winning bid for ubaldo, the reason for the dealay was i was out of town, and had my wife set my lineups, did not realize i did not have ubaldo untill tonight. I am not trying to get any advantage, and will accept a reasonable penalty such as sitting ubaldo this week, bid not being accepted or any other reasonable penalty

As I suspected, an honest mistake with real life events at the cause. No one trying to "pacheat" the system here.

Damien is an NFBC vet and as soon as I saw he was the one who dropped Jimenez I was convinced it was an honest mistake. He contacted me last night and everything has been worked out. And as Greg has said, human error does happen in our events and we respond accordingly.

Officially: Bonderman was cut and Jimenez has been put back on reserve for this week on Damian's team. Good luck all.

Good decision by Greg and Tom. Not surprising there.

Also not surprising that Gekko would be looking for ways to try and use questionable tactics to win. A simple accident does not create the need to even think like a snake for most.

YOUR CONSISTENT "SHOOT FIRST AND ASK QUESTIONS LATER" MENTALITY IS SOMETHING THAT BRINGS YOU DOWN IN A LOT OF PEOPLE'S EYES. IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT. FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN, YOU CONSISTENTLY DO THAT. MAYBE THAT'S THE RUB WITH BEING A PROFESSIONAL GAMBLER.

EITHER WAY, LEAVE ME OUT OF YOUR GUNSLINGER POSTS MOVING FORWARD. I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH A GUY LIKE YOU. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

For what it is worth, this level of personalized review is incredibly important. This isn't a free Yahoo league, and it is extremely easy to make this type of mistake.

Thanks to Greg for addressing, and hope is well with everyone's kids. At the end of the day, none of this matters and kids mean everything

Nice job, guys. I think the correct decision was made. I doubt someone would ever drop a stud player so they can have a few extra hours to decide who to drop.

Greg--I hope your child is doing better.

Greg--I hope your child is doing better. I applaud the decision. But come on, what if this was a marginal player? Absolutely this guy should not lose this player but everyone is gong overboard to suck up to the NFBC. They're off doing doing Football, it's where they make their money. Time to pay attention to BASEBALL!!!! Please respond to the requests made in multiple threads.

Greg, no disrespect to your situation, I know your a class act, just want everyone to play on an even playing field field. I'd be happy to talk to you about it. I invested about 5 grand and feel you shouldn't be the only one responding to the message boards or the concerns of the field.

Take Care.
If it was a marginal player involved, I don't think we would be having this discussion. I doubt that someone would call Greg telling them they meant to drop Volstad instead of Masterson.

As far as sucking up to the NFBC, I figure if people give them grief about things such as website problems and other legitimate issues, why can't someone acknowledge when a good decision was made as well?
