In complete agreement on the three names you mentioned. Good guys and men of integrity. I don't think they would play a one start Moyer over a two start Padilla. You don't have to worry about me ever wanting to hang out with you:)

Greg - Thought I would bump this thread up since you are asking about changes for next year. I would love to see Friday pitching changes allowed with the restrictions mentioned in this thread that would "prevent the streaming of pitchers". With the Friday batting lineup moves currently allowed, I would assume that most managers check their lineups to adjust for injuries, change of playing status, and other situations that have changed in the previous four days. Even if a manager had multiple teams, it should not take that much more time to adjust the pitcher starting lineup - (due to all starting lineup pitchers being LOCKED unless they had not pitched on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), - if one felt that circumstances that occurred in the previous four days warranted such a change.

Another reason for the pitching change on friday.Ihave Bailey in my lineup and he's hurt and probably is done for the year and of course this info comes out on tuesday so know im stuck with a zero for the next 6 days while i have other options on my bench, this sucks. Also they tell you on tuesday that Floyd is done for the year but your stuck. Nothig you can do and this happens a lot with hurt players they just dont DL them.It atleast with the hitters you can get them out.

[/QUOTE]I think the friday switch for hitters was a phenomenal add to the rules. It took the stress and angst right out of those monday lineup decisions. I'm wondering if the same allowance can be granted towards pitchers but for just the last 2 weeks of the season.
1. Players rarely get put on the DL in September so that easement is null and void.
2. Playoff positioning, IP restrictions (more so than ever before) etc, all play havoc with the last 2 weeks starting rotations. During the season rotations are pretty much set in stone negating a mid-week adjustment. But now during the most critical last week of the fantasy season
you find out on wednesday 4 out of your 9 pitchers are finished for the season and there on your reserve are 4 replacements.
It's not a deal breaker that's for sure. We all have to deal with it and in some cases it can anticipated and gamed. Just wondering if there's a downside.

Last week Floyd and Baiely shut after monday and now Kershaw and of course wins is my biggest jump.
I have other pitchers i can put in but even though Kershaw is shut down for the season they dont dl him and its another ZERO.YEAH im crying im sick of this and realize its luck as it can happen to anyone.Just shut down Liriano now so i can really flip out.Just 3 wins and i can pick up 5 points in that crazy NJ MAIN. THATS ENOUGH.
