All in all, I do remember you telling him that first.
Either way, Best of luck. Many things change in 6 months. You, like the others feeling like a break is needed, may be feeling differently come March...and maybe head to head with Rockit in Vegas would be something to look forward to.

[/QUOTE]Cobb, I hope to want to be back. I love baseball, I love the guys here and I love the weekend away in the fall. I think the big decision will be whether I can go in to a March draft with a somewhat normal hours of prep versus Andy,Dan, and I emailing each other sometimes 20 times a day in March which is how rabid we have been in the past. If anybody can get my batteries charged it is those 2 good friends and people like Wayne and the Clummer.
As far as david anthony aka rocket sauce he crossed a line a few years ago and made a nasty comment about my angel of a wife on these boards. It crossed a line. He is IMO exactly that an internet tough guy. If we were ever in person if he wanted to apologize for that I would accept it, if he ignored me I would ignore him, if he wanted to make a bigger deal of it that would be fine too. People who have been in the same room with both of us have told me they think that would be a bad day for him.
Good luck the rest of the way everyone. I have to be honest though Jupinka is such a great guy I would love to see him get an overall.

Thanks for the nice thought there Chesty.
Put the shizz to bed for a couple of months, enjoy the holidays and re-access. You're a sharp player and know the player pool well. Luck and good fortune carve out a bigger % than people realize. You need to stay in the game to let that swing back in your favor.

You said you didn't grow up w/ much, but a "wealthy family member" threw you such an extravagant bday party that there are STILL hurt feelings from the uninvited! 20 years later!
Were there strippers at this party? To be honest, I'm still a little hurt that I wasn't invited, especially if there were strippers. All I remember from the birthday parties I crashed when I was 10 were damn clowns & pony rides!
I'll never forgive you for the slight Kent.

Walla Walla says goodbye
Only in the NFBC could a Walla Walla Goodbye thread lead to side fights all around him!! Truly amazing.
Anyway, if people leave the NFBC because they're burned out by us, burned out by baseball, burned out by software, burned out by lack of friends in the event, etc., I have no problem with that. Again, when a hobby isn't fun again and you keep missing those same three-foot putts, it's time to walk away from the hobby for a bit.
But if people leave because of message board encounters or personal feuds via email or at a live draft, then that's something they need to deal with privately. I sure hope everyone gets along in the NFBC, but I know that's unrealistic. I just hope everyone finishes strong the rest of the way, enjoys the finishes in their leagues and in the national contests and has a relaxing offseason. I think we all could use a break.
But I must be honest. After huge growth again in football, I'm now thinking about baseball 2011 and getting excited already. We'll start to analyze the NFBC leaders and form some first and second round draft lists in a couple of weeks and see if the candle can be lit again. I'm returning for an eighth straight season. Anyone want to join me?

Walla Walla says goodbye
The following is what our own dear leader had to say at the time of this stupid, juvenile feud.
"Okay girls, let's end it at this last post. This was a good thread until it got hijacked by personal insults. PM each other if you have things to say. Everyone's at fault and now nobody cares".
You were absolutely right Greg. I really wanted to apologize for my part in this silliness, but Mr. Stermon was anything but receptive to that.
It's unfortunate. My last post was a result of my re-reading things from then, and getting pissed off all over again. It's bad enough knowing you can't afford to compete in the main event, but to be insulted for it, I guess really pushes my buttons.
The hell w/ it. I know we're both better than this. I'm sorry Kent. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
