Who was the big ticket item this week? The kid from the braves, Teheran?

What does somehow picking him up last week have to do with this week?

He pitched already, he has to be available for every league where he's not already rostered.

Why would he be removed from the player pool? He should be available in every league unless he's on a team

Even players on the MLB disabled list are eligible to be picked up during the FAAB bidding process

The answer is it doesn't. If he was picked up in those leagues he is obviously not going to be available and if he was not picked up, then it would appear that he goes back into the non eligible list which was essentially what I was questioning.
if he was drafted (and dropped without being picked up), he would still be available this week. wonder if there are any of those instances

Teheran was available last Sunday as he was called up. He was then demoted and has not been called back up yet. Unless he was on a team and dropped, he is not available yet.
Right, I would doubt anyone would have gone there with the loser of the Beachy Minor battle seemingly next in line at that point, but you never know. Could have happened a time or two.
Assuming there will even be Super 2 status, he won't get there by staying up for 4-5 weeks, even if he gets a September callup.
seems like a risk for the braves, when they could have brought up another player

Winning my league but struggling in steals so hopefully helped that by adding Austin Jackson & Roger Bernadina.

also added JJ Hardy who was suprisingly dropped last week.
The biggest risk is that he gets hurt while on the ML roster and accrues service time that way. I suppose it's worth noting that he actually hasnt been called up yet.

I ended up getting him an Ultimate for $41. I sorta put in a half-hearted bid on him with no real expectation of getting him. I'm neither pleased nor disappointed. We'll see.

Well, those posts were after FAAB closed, so I wasn't sandbagging. I don't think he's ready, but I'm willing to pay $41 to see if I' m wrong, you know what I mean?
