A player must be on a 25-man major-league roster or once on an NFBC team in your league to be listed as a free agent below. The player pool is deemed closed of new free agents two hours (5 p.m. EST on Sundays) before the FAAB bidding deadline.
He was called up at least one hour before this deadline. He's not on the list. No response to e-mail sent to stats.

Here's the incredibly lame answer I just got from someone that didn't put a name on the reply.
So what this means.... If they feel like working they will, and if they don't feel like working, tough duty.
The fact of the matter is that the player IS on the 25-man roster well before the deadline for adding FA's.
Snelling is not that big of a deal, except that in Auction leagues, there's NEVER a hitter on the FA lists. I can't wait until some player that could actually have a huge impact falls into the "tough duty" category.
"John,
Even if a player is called up prior to the 4:00 deadline, the official transaction must be entered into our system and then he must be assigned an ID before 4:00. In most cases, it may take a few hours after the official transaction happens before they are eligible in our system. So, when players are called up late Sunday afternoon, we cannot guarantee they will be added to the list of FA before the deadline. In this case, Snelling will be eligible to be bid on in that league next week."
Snelling's ID # is 6937. He was assigned that when he got called up in a prior year. You can see any ID # when a player on a yahoo article has a link.

That is correct. Obviously STATS must enter him into the system so that he becomes eligible in your NFBC league for the FAAB period and then activate him. As we've said before, it's possible that you'll read about a callup on a web site or he might be called up officially just before our deadline but that doesn't automatically make him eligible in the NFBC. I wish it were that easy, but these Sunday callups don't always work as fast as you'd like.
Sorry John, but he obviously will be available in all leagues next Sunday.
