I do find the little explanations funny though- like Spier is the backup in Toronto or what team Rivas plays for.

I will try to be a little more contstructive in my feedback. Your team on the surface lacks balance and seems to be weighted more towards guys with reputations and guys who are probably 1-2 years beyond their prime.

I don't blame you or anything - has to be tough the way Voldemort did your parents and all.

C. H. Cota

C. K. Hill -your catchers are like mine...

1B. T. Helton -love him

3B. E. Chavez (Oak) -good, will he ever live up to his skills

CI. J. Bagwell -old and declining, but depending on where you got him, decent #s

2B. R. Durham - yuck

SS. O. Cabrera (Ana) -great in this lineup

MI. T. Wigginton

OF. G. Sheffield - great but old

OF. J. Damon - great but getting older

OF. M. Ordonez (Det) - ouch the knees are scary

OF. P. Wilson - could be huge or nothing...

OF. S. Finley - YUCK in LA

U. R. Palmeiro - old and falling apar

P. Ol. Perez - great, hope his shoulder holds

P. R. Clemens - will he last another year? I hope so

P. Z. Greinke (KC) - good upside, but no wins

P. B. Lawrence

P. W. Williams

P. E. Bedard (Balt) - roll the dice, could be huge!!

P. D. Brazelton (TB)

C. E. Guardado (Sea) -Where is the Real Closer??

C. M. Batista (Tor)

R. J. Valverde

L. Rivas (2B Minn)

L. Ayala

J. Rincon (Minn)

D. Cabrera (SP Balt)

J. Speier (back up to Batista)

my 2 cents is just too old team in general, but some good players. Who knows? maybe you will get lucky and they will have 1 more year in them...

I happen to like your team overall.. A bit lite on speed, but Damon/Durham/Cabera should keep your respectable. Plus you have Tavarez who seems to be the big buzz speedster player nowadays. You could use some upgrades at C too (but so do 5-6 other owners probably). Your pitching is OK.. Clemens/Perez/Lawerence/Williams.. but Grienke is the key for you. If he lives up to the hype.. you should be pretty solid. You also need Guardardo to stay healthy. Also on offense you have some players that need to stay healthy.. i.e. - Baggs/Maggs/Sheff/P.Wilson.. So you have a lot of risk there.. but I think you need to take risks to win, so I don't fault teams like yours (and mine too) that take a lot of gambles.

I think if 2 of those first 3 pitchers bounce back, you will be right there.

Can't believe you got Soriano with the 13th pick. As a fellow #13 pick, I am jealous.

Marty This team looks solid.Although I hate Pods with a passion. You need 5 guys over .300 to balance him. Even though you have Pods you may be light on speed depending on Soriano. Dye can suprise, hope you have a strong outfielder behind these guys, Griffey in particular. Starting pitchers are solid. I like Cordero and Wickman because I have to. Got them both in my keeper league.Mac dougal could be a nice pickup too.Looks like you will be competing all year. Good Luck.

Thanks for input GCA I have Gathright on bench and can only hope TB gets tired of A Sanchez Defensive short comings and bring him up which should help speed numbers Soriano is the key as is the case with every ones #1 pick Last year at the#6 spot I took Prior so am kind of snake bit on drafting "stud" pitchers too early.I too was surprised Soriano slipped to 13th and to Cellar Dwellers and all other pick 13's the best of luck we based on last years league finishers are the door mats of league but law of averages should hopefully balance out this year Good luck to all as its getting close to opening day
