1 Spot Left: Week 18 NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Apr 09, 2024 9:52 am

Okay everyone, who's ready to become the first entrant in the 2025 NFBC Main Event?

You can win that honor if you join and then win the Week 3 NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest this Friday night. This is the first DFS slate of the season and we'll have 50 teams at $50 each competing for the Top 3 prizes. The top prize, of course, is a FREE 2025 NFBC Main Event entry valued at $1,750. Who's ready to win that and be the first entrant into the 2025 NFBC Main Event?

The Week 3 slate consists of all 30 teams competing in 15 games. The first games start at 6:40 pm ET, so all rosters must be finalized before that first pitch. It's slightly earlier than past contests, but for a chance to get all 30 lineups into this contest we're going to roll with it. Let's go.

This is a Friday-only contest that costs $50 per team and each owner is limited to just three teams each. The team with the highest score after Friday's games wins a FREE 2024 NFBC Main Event entry valued at $1,750. We'll pay the Top 3 finishers, but the big winner is the champion.

One of the nice innovations that we've come up with in recent years is the Qualifier Contests that allow our players to win a FREE contest entry the next year for a low entry fee contest this year. We had 14 Main Event Qualifiers from this NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest in 2023 and we added 26 NFBC Main Event Qualifier leagues this off-season, which was the highest total ever. We also added 57 Rotowire Online Championship Qualifier leagues this off-season, so a lot of people are going to win FREE entries for 2025.

But let's start with this Main Event Qualifier this Friday night and continue this every Friday night for the next 3-4 months. Sound good?

We will run these contests as long as demand merits it. Once demand wanes and we can't sell them out, we'll stop running these. We will go as long as you want us to keep offering them. Okay, here's the first one of the season, which locks at 7:05 pm ET on Friday night:

https://www.fanball.com/contests/wdHydj4
https://www.fanball.com/contests/mlb/wdHydj4/enter

Secure your teams now and set your final lineup by 7:05 pm ET Friday as the first slate of games start at that time. Good luck all and enjoy.

After selling 48 out of 50 spots in last week's NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest, we are planning to return again this Friday night for another contest. This will be our 14th weekly contest, which is the final number of contests we ran last year. This could be our last weekly contest, but we'll make that decision based on the demand this week. We'll keep these going as long as the demand is there.

We will again pay the Top 3 finishers in this contest, with the weekly winner earning a FREE 2025 NFBC Main Event entry. Good luck and enjoy.

There are 12 games scheduled for Friday's contest. Here's the contest link and the Registration link:

https://www.fanball.com/contests/wdHydj4

* Total of 50 Teams
* Pay Top 3 teams, including FREE 2025 NFBC Main Event entry to the winner
* Use Fanball salary cap system

The first 50 teams to enter are guaranteed to compete on Friday night. We have awarded 13 FREE 2025 Main Event entries to 12 different people and we'll award at least one more. Good luck all as $50 could win you that $1,750 entry and a shot at next year's $200,000 grand prize.
