The first nomination for an early round pick (5th round or lower) April Bust Award goes to...Julio Lugo, SS, TB, who was #57 on the NFBC 2006 "Draft Valuation" board (and picked by me as the 57th player taken, strangely enough). Total April AB's equal a whopping 2! Special consideration given as Julio was to anchor my SB campaign.
Well, at least I drafted a couple of other players with 15+ SB potential to hold down the fort until he returns..Matos and J. Reed....DOOOH!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
