I have been using Yahoo for my private league for several years now and I am thinking of switching. Does anyone have any suggestions on what commissioner to switch to?

The cbs sporstline site is by far best IMO for a reasonably priced site ($100-150/yr). The downside is that customer service could be described as slow, irrelevant or virtually nonexistent. In spite of that, I run my commish lges there because I like the overall setup.

I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the input.

Any thoughts on rotowire?

I, too, run my league through CBS. Top notch as far as I can see, but I've had the same lack of customer service - good thing I usually don't need it as the site is very user friendly.

I was almost thinking of switching to a cheaper service to keep more of the league monies in the payout pool, but that probably won't happen as everyone is so fond of CBS now.

Before I was commish we used TQ Stats. Not too shabby, but I have no idea how the controls work from the inside. For usability I like CBS better.

Never used Rotowire.

Oh, and I love the free draft board that CBS gives you (if you so choose.) Makes the draft look a little more professional!

I don't understand what the problem with Yahoo is. It's accomadating, easy, and free and I've even had some luck with their customer service. I will say ESPN is horrible. I'll never do a draft there again.

Everyone says CBS is great and then only gives the downside. What do they do so well? Why is it worth paying money for rather than doing a free Yahoo league?

I'm not familiar with Yahoo. If I can run a league through it the way I want and it's free and reliable than I'd probably switch. Are there restrictions to how leagues are run and formed through Yahoo?

They let me do everything I want to do so I haven't had a problem. There are about thirty statistical categories to choose from. You can set the draft order or make it random. You can freeze rosters or make moves for people as you need to. I guess you can't do really advanced things, like I don't think there is any kind of way to set up FAAB. Anything specific you want to know? I am quite familiar with their options.

Also for CBS - good lge msg board, anyone can also post comments and pics on main page, great set of sortable sorts for all in the lge, can create custom reports, very flexible from a commish standpoint - lots of options and easy to use.

I really want to use a commissioner that has FAAB. If Yahoo were to add FAAB I would just stay with them but I either missed it or they dont offer it.

KJ, if Yahoo is so good why don't you switch if it's free? What's keeping you with CBS?
