Hey Woof

I have been a die hard Bucco fan since the Clemente days. Think the division is wide open with 86 games winning it. Feel they have potentially the best ptching in the division if the kids perform well. Still need a #5 hitter since Bay and LaRoche are strong Lot of ifs but who knows Duffy needs to be a real table setter and Torres has to keep doing what he is doing Maybe Richie Hebner can stop digging graves and bat 5th.

Most impressed with IWAMURA of Tampa, its amazing how the Japanese players are so focued and fundamentally sound. Watching him play was a joy to watch this little guy with amazing power that slaps the ball everywhere. Great eye.

As to pitching I believe the cold weather has given the pitchers the advantage do you want hit in this weather man that has gotta sting!

i ALSO WAS IMPRESSED with Iwamura, the way he handles the bat and can hit it anywhere. What a 1st week , hit over 500 with 6 runs. But his defense is the real deal , did anyone see the catch he made againest the Yankees , Stokes made a horrible decision to go to 3rd base , when the play was at first , Iwamura reached as far as he could laying down and just made a great catch. If that ball gets by him , the runner scores and the Yankees tie the game up.Well Stokes gets out of it and Reyes gets them 1,2, and 3 in the ninth to win the game. Iwamura should have gotten the save, now only if i had played him in the main week one.

Tampa Bay is loaded on Offence, ( Perhaps the fastest team to ever take the field, EVER ),... Crawford, Baldeli, Upton, Young, Dukes, Iwamura... 2 things that keep the Pennant out of reach, Their Bull Pen and Their Division, Put them in the AL Central, Give them one more starter to back up KAZ and a solid Closer, this team would B gunning for a championship.

woof- here is an fyi- the al central was better last year than the the east. maybe you meant the nl central- then you might have something. and no the yanks and boston and maybe toronto will all have better offenses- because stealing a base is nice- but hitting 50 homers is better. much better.

Um....I don't think a move to the AL Central would be the answer.

Swap TB with KC and TB still probably finishes last place. They probably have a better chance of beating out Baltimore than they would have beating out one of Detroit, Minnesota, Cleveland, Chicago?

And I think they are more than just "Their Bull Pen and Their Division" away from pennant contention.

They have MANY exciting fantasy baseball players, but as a "real" team...........they have issues.
