Pitching and the DL

I heard on satellite radio last week that the pitchers are usually ahead of the hitters in the first part of the season? Hmmmm? I hate to see what the pitching numbers are going to look like when the hitters catch up! LOL

And is it me or does it seem this year players are dropping like flies. We're going to be able to make a great all-star team soon with the players on or going on the DL!

Hi Nutty,

I agree with you. I was reading that due to the weather the runs scored is down 20%, hard to believe when my era and whip are at 5.0 and 1.5!

I think the cold weather this year definitely caused more hammy problems...

Everyone's reaction to a good or bad start for the most part is and should be it is too early.

IMO 2 exceptions

1) With the way pitching has dominated early on- if your pitching is terrible and healthy right now I would be concerned.

2) If you have Arod and are not doing pretty well- again I would be concerned.
