Barrett to the Padres. Ledezma to the Braves. What trades will be next?

So, who is going to be playing first for the NYY? Teixeira? Hillenbrand? Hatteberg?

Will anybody offer anything for Maroth?

Will the Bravos really go after Beurhle and who will they give up? Escobar?

Will the Rangers trade Gagne?

How long will Wigginton be a Devil Ray?

The talk is really heating up. What are your best bets for the trade that is going to happen/not going to happen?

For selfish reasons, I am going to say that Hillenbrand ends up a Yankee.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

How about Jermaine Dye to the Mets for Mike Pelfrey and Lastings Milledge? The White Sox appear ready to wave the white flag. Dye is having a bad season, but the Mets would probably be willing to gamble on his coming out of his funk. With Moises Alou always hurt, Shawn Green out again, and Endy Chavez shelved with a bad hamstring, the Mets need outfield help badly.

funny- i watch the constant drone about all the great moves the mets made in the offseason- and all the injuries they have had- and all great players they have. then i look at the angels and all the critism they got in the offseason, all the injuries they have and never hear about the great players they have. then i look at the standings. the mets would be a middle of the pack team in the al. trade them all and start over.

Minnesota needs a 3B/DH and Wiggington is supposedly someone that they are looking at. Personally I think Mora would be a better fit.

How about Garza and Crain for Baldelli and Wigginton.

Gives Tampa a great young arm, and a guy with some upside for next year in Crain. At worst make Crain in to Rincon to even out some money.

Minnesota gets their 3b, their LF, and a guy who could move over to center if they lose Hunter in 08.

First, Does anybody care about Tejada and his streak besides Tejada and Baltimore (mis)Management?.... I thought so.

Second, Buehrle would be a good fit for the Dodgers. Kuo is unreliable at best and "crafty" lefties seem to thrive in the NL.

C, Colorado would love to give Helton's contract to one of the two big eastern syndicates.

4, Maroth for Tony Pena, Arizona needs another starter with the Unit down, Detroit is desperate for relief pitching.

Last, A part of me is hoping that Milton Bradley and Elijah Dukes end up on the same team,.... good times.

Kevin J Dye to the Cubs for Jacque Jones, cash and Angel Guzman. Change of scenery couldnt hurt any of these guys.

Soriano got out after a year for good behavior, that should be the standard. Felipe Lopez, on the other hand, looks like he may be stuck for awhile longer. Dukes might make it a career there, Bradley maybe a 1-2 year sentence if he lasts that long.

Kevin Letting V.Diaz go to Texas isn't looking like a great move now. I can't believe how Milledges stock has tanked so quickly. Maybe... Milton Bradley to the Mets????

Scott Hatterberg to the Yankees for TJ Beam. The Reds want to call up Joey Votto in a big way.
