Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Spy,

Just sent you an IM. Dunn is already gone (picked up by Rockwell two picks ago).

After 62 players we have taken 10 pitchers (6 SP and 4 RP), Four Catchers, 8 1B, 4 2B, 6 SS, 7 3B

21 Outfielders and 2 DH’s. I put Berkman at 1B, Upton at 2B, & Figgens at 3B. Stevieland has two of these Flex guys. Third pitcher was not taken to pick 45. I project 21 hitters/24 pitchers rounds 4 thur 6.

Having drafted at pick 3 and 13, I have kept track of only the teams between myself and the turn. Do you keep track of the other 12 teams at your draft?

we may be a little light on pitching- but i doubt more pitchers get taken than hitters in next 3 rounds- we shall see.

I get a little more specific about who has drafted what positions in the middle rounds. By then, my draft notes are letting me know what positions are approaching scarcity (or at least "quality" players are scarce at that position). If I have a need at that position, I will see who is ahead of me before my next pick and what their likelyhood is to draft from the scarce position.

You could have helped by taking Hart 3.15 and Putz 4.1 ;)
