This Saturday I will be attending Fantasy Spring Training. Ron Shandler will be presenting/fielding questions. Anyone have any questions they'd like addressed?

My question for Ron: why does my copy of Baseball Forecaster that I get in mid-December always smell like bugspray? Is it the low-cost ink, or is there an infestation problem at Shandler Enterprises LLC?

And yes, this might have contributed to my leaving it on the plane.

Almost certainly taken in 2007 -- while fielding yet another question from Mr. Gekko himself.

Had a good time. Met randy barbour there. Same type of questions were asked as last year.

The event coordinator and speakers were kind enough to give me a minute to talk about the NFBC. Ron even commented after I was done about how "first-rate" the NFBC was.

Good time was had by all

It was a good time today spending a few hours talking baseball! GG gave a nice speech at the break talking up the NFBC. 6 weeks till draft day and today was a nice break from winter. Nice to hear some insight from Ron Shandler and Paul White on different players.

[/QUOTE]Vegas is the way to go! I hear Vegas has agreed to ban all alcohol that weekend until after the draft!! It would make for another great GG production on Youtube! :D

i'll do my best to get a youtube video up sometime today with my thoughts from attending Fantasy Spring Training. i don't have any interest in watching the super bowl, so that may give me the time i need to get it done.

Good grief, one guy in front of me in my first satellite and he shows up in York, PA for Shandlers first baseball talk of the year.

I had better start studying! ;)

GG: If he uses that first "sleeper" pick on somebody other than the Yankee third SACK er you'll have a pal for life Mark. ;)

My son and I are bound for the real Spring Training in March. After watching you and Shawn on Youtube, he wants us to do a "live report" from the Grapefruit League each day. I don't know if I'm computer savvy enough to figure this out in 26 days, but we may give it a shot.

I think the main point I learned from the spring training event yesterday is that if I don't take Elijah Dukes with my first pick, he might beat the crap out of me. So I am leaning towards Dukes at #1 :D

I had better start studying! ;) Ken, I must say, the winner of the satellite you are talking about will have some major bragging rights. To me, this league will be way harder than my main event league. I recognized almost every participant and know it will be a tough one.

In this satellite, at least 3 owners WILL finish in the top 20 for the main  .

GOD LOVES YOU:

Satellite sure looks tough. Figured the $125 is money well spent for a preview, if nothing else.

My spring tiks have me in Clearwater for the Phils, Dunedin for the Jays, Dodgertown, and then a pair of games the same day so that I can visit two parks.......Astros and Braves.
