Who has more of a chance of starting 28 games or more? Ben Sheets Francisco Liriano or A.J. Burnett

Burnett for the first question.

Liriano and Sheets for the second question.

Much like who will get more ab's Chipper Jones or Mike Lowell, and who gets picked first. ;)

If you really thought Burnett with get considerable more starts why will he go later in the draft?

And in no way did I say "considerable".

Burnett has a higher K rate lower era and whip than Sheets in 07 and liriano didn't even pitch. If you think that Burnett will get more starts then why shouldn't he go in front of Sheets and Liriano.

It's a new year!

All three start on an even keel this year. Although Burnett would be the slight favorite to have more innings this year, he has most likely reached his ceiling. Sheets and especially Liriano can be of draft changing significance.

If Liriano is taken in the 9th, Sheets in the 10th, and Burnett in the 11th. And all start 34 games Liriano and Sheets could give you 3rd or 4th round value while, at best, Burnett gives you 8th round value.

Burnett with 32 GS will not finish with top 10 numbers, while Seets and Liriano could both end up in top 10 (they have both been top five for periods in the past).

I think that I would pick Sheets, Liriano, Burnett in that order but I don't think that the risk reward is that different. In the NFBC league published in the magazine Sheets went in the 6th round with Liriano going in the 10th and Burnett going in the 11th. I think the best value on draft day would be Burnett. :D

and for another in 2006, Liriano reached a level that few can.

It doesn't matter if Sheets is in the N.L. and Burnett is in the A.L. if he still has better stats. Liriano has only pitched a little over a half of a season in the league. My point is Burnett is a better value in the 11th than Sheets is in the 6th.

[/QUOTE]I don't agree with Sheets pitches in the N.L. and that is why I would pick him first. Johan Santana has been in the A.L. and been the first pitcher off of the board. It is all about the individual statistics. :D

James:

You ever see the signatures on AJ's bats? They are signed Marilyn Mason and other metal heads. He is talented, but a freak.
