Chest, your proposal only benefits CRAZY and others besides you and I....why would either of us do that??

I set out to win my way into the NFBC main and accomplished it my first time trying. CRAZY can do the same....although losing 10 leagues at $125 a pop, well he could've just used that for his main entry ;) :D .

ok i am just posting this so i can refer to it in october and see if i was right1) gly will pick up enough pitchers to get 40-45 pitching points in pitching and if bell and broxton close- more 2) i like crazies pitching staff- but gly could beat him a couple of ways- injuries- which could easily happen and especially if broxton gets the closers job- he goes from 8-10 points behind crazy in saves to 6-10 points ahead- big swing. 3) crazy team will have a good ba. people look at the bad ones- but they all won't start for him and he drafted backups like nick j. to back up sexon that take it from a negative to a positive + the high ba guys are gonna get many at bats. 9-10 points.

I agree with you though that it is heavily weighted towards him and gave him the chance to up the ante but did not hear much. I don't blame you for passing and the 125 league is a much better suggestion.

I think people look at last year's numbers too much. 2006 - Sexson hit .264 - Durham hit .293 - Uggla hit .282 -

I don't expect any of them to quite match those averages, but somewhere close would be a reasonable expectation which won't hurt my overall BA too much. Match that with Magglio/Mauer/Atkins/Fukudome/Delmon and you've got a top 5 BA.

I might have to substitute Nick the Quick for Sexson, and find a free agent to take over Crosby's slot, but I'm super strong in outfield/DH.

I think I made a couple mistakes waiting too long for infielders, but overall my team is pretty sound.

We'll see.

How about whoever loses has to show up at the Main Event next year with a t-shirt that says "God Loves You", the winner gets to wear the shirt that says "God Loves Me".

Why? I believe Chest Rockwell said he'd make a $5000.00 donation to your church/charity, meanwhile if Crazy's pitching staff beat yours, then you'd hafta pay HALF of Crazy's 2009 NFBC entrance fee, which is $650.00 Right?

Mr. Rockwell has MUCH more to lose than you, but then again w/ a name like god loves you I assume you have no common sense. I took for granted that you could at least do basic arithmetic.

I would have been all for it, although it was more to help me than anything else I believe. I certainly would have to put up something of value as well. Since it was turned down, we just have free 2009 satellite to who wins most pitching points between myself and GLY.

Adds a little excitement to the league, that's for sure.

Ok, here's some numbers for you

Crazy wins=$650 from my bank account

I win=$5,000 from Chest's bank account

Now Mr. Math Major, can you tell me where I benefit in this arrangement? Crazy/others besides myself are the only ones to benefit.

BTW, it saddens me to see people like you ridicule others for having convictions, beliefs, and a genuine concern for people. God DOES loves you, no matter what you think.

Kent, I'm anti-religion myself, so it doesn't bother me one bit. Heck, Yeshua(Jesus) was anti-religion himself...that's why he came.

I'm as far from being Pat Robertson as one can be. I spent more than a decade smoking weed everyday, tripping on acid and mushrooms weekly...actually, you name the drug, I've snorted it, smoked it, got it in my body any way possible. I've been with more females than I can count, spent many nights basically homeless. I was close to suicide AND then I allowed God to step in and help take control of my life. Seriously, when it came to destroying my body and my loved ones around me, I was an expert.

Now if I went through all of these things and was rescued, why would I not want to tell others there's a way out?? I grew up in "the church" but didn't really "know" they love of God. I now do, so why not spread it around?

BTW, it's funny how people like you can never answer a question. I'm guessing it's because you don't have a legit answer.

Ok, enough of my religious rhetoric.
