Anyone up for a quick chat?

I'm home today. Too much snow and my car is in the shop...my bike doesn't work too well in the snow/ice. had to have my buddy take over my paper route today.

I'll be around from 12:15 until 1 or so. If you have any questions, post em and i'll get to em. sorry for the short notice.

Is this the year Rusty Greer stays healthy and puts up 150 games?

Thanks.

We don't do snow here, but it is cold and overcast.

A few bp pitches - and then we will warm up ;)

1) What did you think of Pujols going at 10/12/16 in Tuesday's satellite drafts?

2) Would you still consider drafting Johan in the first round like you did last year? If so, how early can you justify taking him?

Do you believe in SS or 2B scarcity this year?

(1) Who are your picks for the Oscars this weekend? Hint: I...drink...your...MILKSHAKE!

(2) Is that really Claire's baby that Kate is claiming to be her son?

(3) Who won the debate last night? I really liked Hillary's "change you can Xerox" line -- I wonder who wrote it for her...

Do you think that a team can draft Santana in the first round and not take another SP till the second half of the draft finish in the top 10 this year?

If so, how early can you justify taking him? i've said it all spring, poodles is gold as long as he's healthy (AS WITH EVERY PLAYER). people don't seem to be concerned with HRAM and his bum shoulder. why are they so concerned with poodles? HRAM's situation is worse IMO. this is a kneejerk reaction to some recent poodles news that hit the wire. come mid martch i expect poodles adp to be mid first round (hint to any KDS undecided)

as for santana...oh yes...i'll take him in the first and i know which spot to take him at. i could announce the slot, but it really depends on each and every owner and what their draft plan is.

Follow-up on the Schilling question:

Who pitches more innings this year between Curt Schilling and Chris Carpenter?

If Dempster doesn't win a spot in the Cub rotation. Does he close? If not, who does?

every year there are nice sleepers at each position (even SS and 2B) that you can get late. this year is no different. the trick is nailing those picks.

Gordon are you going to use your KDS this year in the nfbc.Last year i didnt but this year i would rather be at the end of the draft.Even Greg said that pick 2 is the least pick that players are asking for.

What do you think of these players this year.

AND will he be healthy? i kinda doubt it at this point. in case anyone can't read between the lines...schilling's injury means Buchholz's value will be enormous this year. it will be fun tracking his adp these next few weeks.

[/QUOTE]Agree. I was in one of the Tues. night drafts.

A Hill RD13

Luis Castillo RD16

F Sanchez RD17

Not that they are sleepers, just good players available later in the draft.

Being that Rookies pan out at such a low percentage...do you have a rule as to when they are worth a gamble in the draft?

I know every year is different...but when is just too early?

Let's say you now have your cheatsheet completely finished as of today.

If there were ZERO injuries and ZERO trades and ZERO changes to batting order and rotation...

Ho much of an impact do you give to how players do in Spring Training in regard to your rankings?

Are 250 major league at bats enough for you to form a solid value on a player? (ie...2007 2nd half numbers)
