I'm never happy about my draft because afterwards I can see where my mistakes were. In addition, i must have an "8th round curse". In last years main event, I had inadvertently thought my CI slot was filled up, and passed on R.Sexson in the 8th round and selected Brett Myers. After the draft I was pretty disgusted with myself for that miss. The season played out and Sexson was a bust, so I was "lucky" in that instance.



I am hoping for more of the same this year. Here's what happened...there was a MAD pitcher run on some of my favorite SP BEFORE my pick in the middle of the 8th round!?!?!?! Gallardo, Maine, AND Billingsly all went before my pick. I had NEVER seen that happen in any of the drafts I've seen this year. very frustrating



I knew I had to take a starter in Round 8. I looked at the computer application I was using and one of the top two pitchers was f.lirano. i didn't like the other guy that was close to lirano so i selected him. too bad for me, i wasn't looking at MY "number". i had the data sorted by adp and lirano was at the top. so, i picked him because i was looking at the wrong data!!!! foolish mistake on my part. esp since i have lirano as the #35SP this year, and there was no way 34 SP were gone when i made my pick



my bad, and goes to show you that no one is perfect.
