Fireball same question: who was your second and who was third? Between BabyGrand and TT?

Just trying to get a sense- I am drafting from the 6th spot in a satellite next week.

I don't think that occurred because of their drafting prowess... ;) if you know what I mean; how the hell does D. Lee fall to 4.7?

RT, you got Lee at 4.07 in the Super. That's the 7th pick of the 4th round (you were in the 9 slot).

Nice pickup BTW.

Nice pickup BTW. I believe that they were drafting using the new 'snake' format...

so Mark.. what did you think of the Super Draft? I thought the level of competition was noticeably higher (and rightfully so) than in the main. Aside from my own team, I particularly liked the team at 10 who started with Braun and Upton. As good of a start as you can hope for I think. My ideal start actually. I didn't really take notice of which teams I liked more than the others, but it seems like it will be a pretty tight race. I had the 2 pick and ended up with:

C V. Martinez

C G. Soto

1B C. Pena

2B K. Matsui

SS H. Ramirez

3B H. Blalock

CI J. Votto

MI A. Cabrera

OF C. Hart

OF C. Duncan

OF M. Diaz

OF B. Hawpe

OF F. Pie

DH A. Huff

P J. Verlander

P T. Lincecum

P C. Billingsley

P C. Buchholz

P D. Eveland

P B. Bannister

P C. Villanueva

P K-Rod

P G. Sherrill

B T. Iguchi

B J. Keppinger

B J. Rivera

B B. Bonds

B K. Kendrick

B K. Fukumori

B C. Kershaw

I liked it a lot, but it's a lot harder drafting from the 2 spot than from the 12 spot (or anywhere in the middle) in my opinion. Not enough guys fall to you on the ends.

I will respectfully disagree. Too little power and too many injury risks. I think Loney in the 7th is kinda ridiculous too. It's not a bad team at all, but I don't think it separates itself from other teams.. and certainly wasn't the best in my opinion.

[/QUOTE]Lunatic- very nice to meet you. How about we make a deal in 2009. I will continue to deliver room keys for you any time you like. In response you agree that if you are over my shoulder observing our auction and your cell phone rings that you will take the call outside. Cool?

Again no big deal and it was great to meet you and you seemed like a heck of a good fella, but you have to admit that was not very considerate?

Chest: I apologize; however, what auction was I observing when my phone rang? I remember, once or twice when my phone rang and once went outside the other time, I walked to the door and was talking very low; I don't remember talking w=on the phone with anyone looking over someones shoulder; again, if I did, you're correct, that is inconsiderate, but I don't remember doing it.

Chest; the more I thought about this; there is no way in hell I was talking on a cell phone over your shoulder while bidding in an auction was happening; NO WAY;

I saw your other post- it happened man. A couple of folks commented about it. I have to define over my shoulder within range of me and made it hard to hear. It is not that big of a deal. A case of someone not thinking which is a case that could me made about me a lot. It was nice to meet you.
