Gecko vs. KJ Duke vs Spyhunter
Ok, borrowing from KJ's post in the Gecko thread, here is all three of our main event teams head to head. Please note, I partnered with a great friend RT Davis on this team so it isn't just 'me'
I see Duke with the best SP, RT&I with the best Closers, Offense pretty balances, maybe with us having the best, but we have CI/3rd base weakness.

well rasmus won't be d hing- funny- larussa is a genious and plays all vets and baker is dumb and plays all vets. at least bakers vets can actually play baseball. to start ludwig or shumaker appears dumb- but it is starting to look like st louis is just gonna bag this year. get rasmus more 3 a seasoning, shelve carpenet most of the year, maybe sit pujols. just looks like way- we shall see. thew really have no pitchers after wainright- so might be the way to go.

At a cursory glance, I would say that GG might have the best offense of the three, but KJ would be right there. I think yours is lacking just a bit. And I think KJ has the best pitching. There are lots of high upside guys scattered throughout the 3 teams, so it's hard to do a thorough analysis. But my gut tells me, KJ, GG and you.

IMO that is 3 pretty solid squads. I got to spend some time with Kevin in Vegas good fella.
Now lets get a few more folks to validate Spy's team for him so we can move on

spy - you are counting on these guys starting!!!!
Dimtri Young
Doumit
Crisp
Rasmus
unless something changes between now and the start of the season, your offense will be substandard

Remember, I have Wiley Mo and Gathright on the bench so I have lots of coverage....
As for Young, well, every team has it's gap right?
In a kind of strange way, I like having 1-2 players I can easily drop, this makes the whole FAAB decision a bit easier.

I am not too worried, I mean there are players like Pena last year all the time on the FA wire?
Seriously though, I do expect to see lots of 1b/3b types that will emerge. There is always several that do. Or Young will get a job somewhere and play 120 games and we will have to find someone to cover the other 40
