In making the final out in Left Center, Edmonds was backing up Hairston and a fan threw a ball and almost hit Edmonds while Hairston was making the catch.

Incredibly pathetic.

Why do you hate the bay area so much? I think you might be afraid of your latent issues.

It is a good thing Edmonds didn't get hit or he may have shattered.

In other news, I have decided you aren't coming down in batting average so I am going to have to climb up there myself.

Quit climbing already. I've seen enough of that too.

I was going to start another thread earlier, but why not start it here.

Do the Giants have a chance of breaking the NL record for losses in a season? Could we see a team bat in the .220's for the first time in decades?

[/QUOTE]Those are fair questions, to be sure. I think the solution for them to not suck historically bad is to find anyone who can post OBP's up around .330-.340 to put at the top of the lineup and follow that up with Rowand, Winn, and Molina. Then they need to assemble some kind of acceptable middle infield defense which right now is hemorrhaging runs and killing their only asset--pitching. These are things they can probably do on the fly, but yeah, if things keep going the way they are going, it could be a record.

And you shouldn't sell Baltimore short. I think they have a good chance to surpass the Giants in historical badness.

In other news, I see I just passed you in BA.
