~Lance [/QUOTE]Yep tough loss for this city. I can't believe that Memphis didn't foul Kansas before they got that three pt shot off in regulation. You have to foul in that situation....

Have to give Kansas credit though as they never gave up and hit some huge shots down the stretch.

All year Memphis couldn't hit free throws and it finally caught up with them.

I agree re: foul.

From a logic standpoint...two free throw attempts (none gauranteed to go in), and securing no potential tie or loss= more valuable than a few seconds on the clock.

You could of also called TO with 2.1 left and set up a decent shot.

The free throws obviously killed Memphis, but Calapari did a lousy job in the last 10 seconds.

It's a shame as I too was pulling for Memphis, as they were EXTREMELY fun to watch!
