I'm not sure how the NFBC qualifies its positional eligibility, but I'd like to see a move like what happened Sunday not count toward it.
Ivan goes out during the game for a pinch hitter, and Inge plays catcher for a spot, short term fill in, late in a blowout game.
He gets credit toward C eligibility?
It would be nice to only use Games Started.

...and today will be called "Correction Tuesday"...as teams and players off to poor starts have better ones, and teams and players off to fast starts will have slower ones.

~Lance It's an interesting suggestion, but it wouldn't reward those versatile players who sometimes fill in at several positions when needed. And since we have a 10-game in-season limit to qualify at any position, it really forces someone like Inge to do what he did on Sunday multiple times before he gets position eligibility.
Honestly, I don't see a downside to having a player qualify at more positions. Being a California guy, Lance, I'd think you'd be more liberal with your rules thinking.
