Wigginton or Lopez

Post by crazytown » Thu Apr 10, 2008 3:05 am

I am in a 5x5 league with 13 teams. There are no reserve spots. You can only DL a guy if he is officially on the MLB DL.

I have Wigginton at 2B. Should I waive, or would you waive him, and pick up Jose Lopez who is a free agent and off to a good start?

So I guess it comes down to this. Assuming Wigginton doesn't go on the DL, who would you rather have at 2B, Wigginton or Lopez?

I see alot of teams in the NFBC have Lopez and are starting him. What do you guys think?

I appreciate all input.

Thanks and have a nice day

Daily or weekly lineup?

If daily and a marginal player like either Wiggy or Lopez in a 13 team league with no bench, I'd make the change immediately.

If weekly, assess if Wiggy will be good to go on Monday, if not make the change.

In leagues with no bench and daily moves, fielding a full team as much as possible is a key as long as there are no ab's or games limits at a position.

It is a daily move league. We can only make 18 non-DL moves per year. That was my concern. I have made 0 moves so far.

Thanks for your reply.
