Both Izzy and Gagne are losing their jobs. Should be another spending Sunday. The trouble is picking who will actually get the respective jobs. A lot of "by committee" talk by the managers. Very frustrating.

It should be Solomon Torres who has closed before.Riske been bad so i dont see anybody but Torres.Franklin got his first chance and did well he should keep getting the chances until he blows a couple.RIDE THESE GUYS OUT. 100 TO 250 Depending how bad you need saves.

Some reports have Moto in for Brewers. That is what makes these bids so interesting. Franklin and Springer in the land of Bud and any one of the three choices in Miller Brew Land. Clearly a six-pack is required to bet on these choices.

Got Mota for $27 in Auction league....with no runner-up bid

Out of 22 bids, only 3 had runner-ups. It always amazes me how 15 people can see things so differently.

Ludwick was available in our league. He went for $304

Curious, if you had Izzy, couldn't see this coming a few weeks ago?? IE: save yourself some money by being proactive?
If you can tell me now that Franklin is going to get all the saves. I'll gladly spend the money. Problem is that I didn't know two weeks ago that it would be him, I'm not 100% sure today but I gotta take that chance.

I freaking hate Blind Bidding for free agents.

I wasted 200 this week...pure fear of being out-bid.

Not that the guys I got aren't worth it...just that you never ever know what is enough each week.

Two 101 bids, when two $1 bids would have won.

My mindset now is to "make these fools pay for missing these studs!"

Duck- there are stones flying at your glass house. Nice move on Franklin- but I would argue that the Gagne implosion was much more foreseeable and much more likely to be permanent.

RU CREW- congrats on an excellent start.

There were too many (9 were signed) starters out there to bid $100 on any one of them. Lance is #1 in ERA in LV3. Even more reason not to bid $100...
Please, whom should I pick up....all 3....Mota, Torres, and Riske??

Franklin has pitched well the past two season, has been the 8th inning guy...writing was on the wall.

Gagne, sure, I knew he was done, but again, am I to waste 3 spots or just take a chance on one? I figured it was Mota, but I really didn't have the space to roster him.

BTW, don't you have work to do OR are you just a quitter?

I sure hope it is Mota since I got him; also bid big and got Franklin; needed to get both these guys to help improve my worst CAT (SAVES); 77.5 pts won't get it done. Good luck to all who went after these guys.

just my opinion- but the brewers closer in august might not be on the roster. riske is risky, torrres might not have the stuff and mota and gagne are the same guy- former steriod users ; no longer using, that sport era's + 5.0. unless mota reinvented himself or has found something undetectable- he won't last.

Got Ryan Franklin for $6 on 5/4 in main event and got Fuentes for $1 on 4/20 in mixed auction. Being one week early on those bids helped for sure.
