good things about Dan Haren leaving without the lead

1. I no longer have to listen to Marlins announcers talk about how their club has the best talent since the '27 Yankees.

2. I no longer have to listen to all the ways that the Diamondbacks have a pathetic club this year.

3. I no longer have to hear how Dan Uggla and the Florida defense are superior to Orlando Hudson and the D-Backs.

4. I no longer have to listen to the Maroone commercial.

Reporter friend of mine told Tommy Hutton you can tell the Marlins sign his paycheck.Hutton blew his top.Told the guy to get his facts straight he is paid by FSN.Hate to see how much of a homer he would be if the Marlins paid him.

Ranger broadcasters today stated that in the past they have been short of All-Star candidates. This year their whole outfield, Kinsler, Young, Blalock if he comes back strong, and Padilla all have a chance at being selected.

Ever notice how bloop hits for the visiting team are ducksnorts, bloops, dinks, or lucky. While the home team describes them as a great piece of hitting, a good at bat, or taking what the pitcher gave them.

So after Haren was pulled I had pitchers in the Anaheim and White Sox games and I got to hear their wonderful announcers. But even "He gawn!" and "You can put it the boarrrrrd, YES!" and the dreaded "Can of cowrn" are better than "Who you gonna call? Marooone!"

Course I went running before I got to hear "3 to 1, good guys!" That could have well put Hawk and DJ over the top.

He was good here in Chicago with the Cubs 20 years ago and he's better now. I don't know who the other guy is but I don't dislike him or I would know his name (ex. Joe Morgan, Darren Jackson)

I had the FL one, as well as the Arizona. You only get one feed for cable and no HD. I'd have satellite, but I don't have a clear view of the southern sky. Oh well, at least I get On Demand.

[/QUOTE]I have cable also. Is there a reason why we only get one feed instead of both like the dish company's have?
