Heh, I had Lackey give up 16 baserunners on his own in 5.2 innings tonight. At least you improved in three categories.

I've had at least 10 4-run+ leads blown by pens in the main. It's sick.

Brian, at least it wasn't Qualls this time. He's killed you.

Brian, at least it wasn't Qualls this time. He's killed you. Objectively speaking, I'd love him to close out the Diamondbacks games. I hide under the table when Lyons shows up to pitch the ninth.

That team is horribly run, though. They should be running away with the division. It's pretty rare I blame it on the manager but aside from the fact that he makes bad decisions daily, they just aren't trying. How else do you explain that they have 5-6 fast guys who never run? It's not so much that I think they'd have 5 more wins if they ran as that it is just a clear sign that neither manager nor player is making an effort over there.

Also, Mark Reynolds is a piece of $#@%, but he will probably play 3rd while Tracy sits tomorrow.

Hey, &%$# YOU, Mark Reynolds! He was one of the two! I think Lyon has now blown three wins for him. I know Haren was dealing, but that is the first time they have left him in with more then 100(108 to be exact)+ pitches. Tough to swallow.

Kind of sucks..... Probably shared a couple of the starters with you. In five of my starts this week, my guys threw 33.1 IP with 39k, 1.08 ERA and .960 WHIP. Five starts...one win! YeeeHawwww! It is good to get the help in the three categories, but need wins too!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

seems like you guys are concentrating on good pitchers- guys with low eras and whips- instead of guys that get wins- like bronson arroyo.
