World Baseball Classic

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Oct 23, 2008 5:20 am

Just a reminder to all NFBC owners this year that the 2nd World Baseball Classic will be held this March from the 5th through the Championship Game at Dodger Stadium on Monday, March 23rd. That means that there will be no opening series in Japan. The NFBC main event drafts are scheduled for Saturday, March 21st, so most arm injuries from the WBC should be known by then!! :D (sorry)

Good luck all and see ya at spring training. :D

Who cares about the injuries or series in Japan? ;) I wanted to go again as we went to Anaheim for the first classic and it was a blast. We may still head to San Diego, but I would like to see the US squad and they will be in Miami for the 2nd round. Then you have the NFBC weekend during the finals so how can I miss the draft and still make the tournament? I plan on doing the Ultimate or Super Sunday so what is a man to do? Just having fun, but me and the boys did due the inaugural tournament and were planning on doing it again, but doesn't look like it will happen unless we miss the US. Anyone else go to the first tournament?
