The list below provides an approximation (+/- 5%) of what percentage of the top 20 teams' points were provided by their first 23 selections. Basically how efficient was their draft in terms of contribution to their final stats. Showtime's negative number is basically ZERO contribution from its pitchers drafted in totality.
FJ Fantasy and Weird Science's offense was basically on cruise control. Showtime easily had to work the hardest to get where he got. MGBS is perhaps the only one whom was able to kick back and relax based on what he got out of the draft.
From this data, one can surmise that approxmately 50-70% of this game is the DRAFT and the other 30-50% is FAAB and roster activation. Just goes to show you just how much work goes into making it into the top 20.

I would love to see an analysis of the FA picks for these teams, and the VALUE they had towards the teams. Especially some of the lower scores.
What NFBC teams had the most value from their FAAB picks this year?

For the draft analysis, it was fairly easy to gather and calculate (ie easy cuts and pastes). Doing an analysis of the FAAB would require gathering a lot more data, including timing. I would simply make the general assumption that the difference is FAAB, abit of picks 24-30, with perhaps a really small percentage (ie 0-5%) for active/bench decisions.
I've got time on my hands, but not that much.
