Hey Shane, I was in that on-line championship draft with you yesterday and really enjoyed my first OL draft, it's a great idea and next year I plan to do more.

Pretty sure Greg posted in another thread that on-line results wouldn't be made public until after all the drafts were complete and I know some MBers voiced the hope that folks wouldn't share their teams...not sure if you saw that thread, that is why I bring it up.

On MDC you can "vote" and "rate" the teams you drafted against, tonight I'll go their and give you my take.

Good luck this season!

I guess, I don't understand why you would WANT to post your team when there are 30+ leagues that you will be directly competing against yet to draft.

Not sure I am for or against posting online lineups, I do not think it would influence anyones way of drafting in this type of format. Three glaring weaknesses on your team are C, you don't have one and in this format you can get 2 serviceable catchers that can help you and currently you have 1/2 of a C, the 2nd is your potential whip and era disaster at the end of your rotation. Third, batter average is going to suffer with the number of 250-270 bats in your lineup. Looks like the first half of the draft went pretty well but downhill after that

I have done 2 Online drafts now and think there is definitely an advantage for teams picking this week to see where players went drafted over the weekend. I agree with those who feel we should wait until this Saturday......ohhhhh about 7:30PM EST to post our teams.

In fairness to Shane, at least he didn't post his team in "draft order" or his draft spot?

I don't think his team or our league results would give anyone a leg up in the competition, that's just based on some of the picks made that really were questionable IMO. But, I understand and respect that most folks don't want teams posted here.

Welcome to the boards Shane, hope you have a thick skin! ;)

Unless he's dropping an official ADP report for the 12 team leagues...his roster is harmless to post.

Shane,

Welcome aboard. I think it's already known Clement is starting the year in the minors so I doubt you want to take a zero at that spot. Good news is that since these are only 12-team leagues, it should be a little easier to find a replacement.

Also, I read today that Devine's elbow is still bothering him... I guess this is the advantage that some have drafting upwards to 1 wk later is the lastest news. At least you have 2 other closers and Devine may still return healthy.

I also agree with another post, looks like batting avg and whip could be the weaker categories. It's always tough to look good on paper in every category...I was just looking at my main event team and thinking, boy I wish I had a little more speed (like 20 more steals!). FAAB can always fix things.

Best of luck. Rich
