MLB Rosters

I think MLB rosters have to be down to 25 by Sunday, although I'm not sure what time.

Guess that may preclude waiver wire additions of certain players, right?

We will only be able to pick up players that are active by 7am Sunday morning.

Anyone have a feel for this?

Anyone have a feel for this? Sure would be nice if someone would grab hold of this and make sure Stats did something to get the player pool filled out... my best guess is we'll get a halfass player pool for Sunday becaues it should be being addressed right now and it doesn't seem to be.

[/QUOTE]There were a number of times over the last few seasons that payers were apparently placed on the DL before the weekend, but stats wouldn't acknowledge it as "official" (even if MLB.com listed it) and we could not, therefore, replace the player in our line-ups.

25-man rosters are due by noon local time (where the time is playing their first game) on the day of their first game. So even though a few clubs have already cut down to 25, only the Phillies and Braves are required to do so before Monday at noon.

I mis-spoke... rosters were due at noon PT today for all 30 clubs.
