Pre-Mag Mock Draftl

Post by DOUGHBOYS » Mon Oct 30, 2006 6:13 am

OK, for the fantasy baseball guy it is the worst time of the year so lets start our 2nd annual pre-mag mock draft.

Rules are simple, all picks will be made on this thread, first 15 teams that get in are entitled to that pick BUT if it takes longer than 12 hours beyond your time to pick someone else can come in and make your pick.

This isn't a competition, just something to pass the time till Greg and his cronies get their presses rolling. Have fun with it.

Ok start the second guessing. Though I don't want the second pick for real. If I had it and the draft was today I'd still take A-Rod. So that's my pick. A-Rod goes #2.

You KNOW I couldn't resist. He won't hit 19 HR again nor will he drive in 81 runs, but I will go with Jose Reyes at #3.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

LOL I agree with JEagle. Ok, so I am in right?

I would have to take Santana, even though I am worried about his injury potential!!!

RD 2, Pick # 3

Miguel Cabrera.

I think Miguel goes in the 1st round in most drafts but early 2nd is close enough.

How much longer do I have to wait on BEF to make his 2nd selection?

Supposedly 12 hours. I'd say give him at least 24.
