Mock Draft #2
Chest Rockwell takes Johnny Damon
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

BTW, I could care less if people took 3 days to make a selection, my comments were more towards Brilee's Brigade due to his comments towards Doughboys. To many people "read into" postings waaay to much. [/QUOTE]Not questioning your promptness or anything else. I would remind you though that I am the one who took over for you in the 2005 mock draft. Sometimes poop happens and as Headhunters suggeted, you never know. I just found out my old boss, a couple years younger than me is dead. I emailed him about joining nffc next year and his wife had to tell me he gone. Hadn't talked to him in a while. Was a super fantasy football fanatic. He got cancer and didn't last long. I'm really bad about staying in touch with people. You always expect things haven't changed. Sometimes they do though.

As hopefully this "discussion" can come to an end, all I was saying that is if a pick needs to be made for a slow team, it should be made by a team further from the spot being picked for. Most of you guys in here are top players so a pick by a further placed team should not be a problem. And yes obviously Hoffman was the right pick.

That sucks.
I'm bad about keeping in touch as well...I just assume they'll all live to be 85-100.
I think I'll invite some folks over tomorrow for football that I wouldn't have...just to see them again!
Thanks Vander.

When taking any Brewer pitcher, you'll have to think of all the butchers that are playing behind them. Fielder, Weeks, and Braun on the infield are all among the league's worst at their positions. Bill Hall who just never looked at home in center and Estrada who rates in the lower echelon of receiving. Scary stuff.
