I considered Phillips very seriously here and I bet there will be many who hope he falls to the mid- late-third round.

This is a good and bad spot to draft. If you go pitcher here, you will lose out on the last couple of offensive players who could have years in 2009 that will have folks talking about first round in 2010. If you don't pick a pitcher here, you will lose out on any hope of your top five or so starters and probably four or five closers.

I am going offense as I need some all round power production. I am going with Carlos Quentin at 2-15 and Prince "Sneakin' Some Big Macs" Fielder at 3-1.

Great power to go with Reyes! I actually passed on Hanley to take ARod at 2 assuming that some nice speed power combos would fall at 2-14 and 3-2 and they have. In a rebound where he gets past 20 HR's again to go with his 40 sb's I will add.....

I am still drawn by the SB's and just think there is alot of talent in this guy, a return to '07 form would not surprise me. McCann was the other consideration along with a starter but having started Holliday, Lee, I thought Martin was a better fit.
