2) What does that do for Pedroia, Kinsler, Roberts, and Phillips?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

1. as we get closer, we'll get a better picture, but i think if he misses april only, he'll still go in the 2nd at the latest.

2. if the above happens, it puts them all comparable.

It may be late now, but since this doesn't count for money, you should have let him repick. then you might find out where he is now and the first round would be a truer first round. Just a suggestion from one not in the board mocks this year. I don't think it's too late to repick the last few picks imho.

Thanks Dave.

I would've picked Sizemore and it's funny if it were draft day I would've taken Grady as well, but I thought for fun sake to see how the rest of round 1 played out I thought let's do something I wouldn't do on draft day. I have also been following the baseball news all winter and was laughing that Utley's news seems to be one of the few things I had missed. It would make for a better telling if I repicked, but I would only pick someone who hadn't been taken. Either way is fine by me.

Craig Craig - if you want to pick someone not taken BEFORE the last pick of the first round I will change it. I didn't offer this earlier because YOU didn't ask.....now we get a comment from a non-participant that gets a response.....weird..anyway feel free to post a different player - there are several candidates still available.

Guys - I'm going to be away from the computer today so it would be great if we could get back around to my next pick quickly.

[/QUOTE]Sorry Perry

Didn't ask cause I didn't think anyone cared. Vander brought up a good point that if we want to get a fair assessment of this mock we probably shouldn't have Utley go at 6.

If it pleases the court I will take Ryan Hpward at 6 and let Utley go to someone in round 2 or 3.
