Dough basically let you know that he didn't pick the guy that you had ranked higher - and while it was obvious that you were making a joke - it isn't always apparent when you are on the receiving end.

Unfortunately sarcasm is something that isn't always identified when delivered in black and white.

It gets even harder when you sprinkle in a jerk or two.

Eric Thanks Eric.......I guess there are a couple of considerations...not everyone likes to have picksin multiple drafts here on the message boards where everyone can dissect them........I will be running some mock drafts (both 15 teamers and 12 teamers) at www.fantasybaseball.com

It is free to register and be on the message boards where we will do a draft with some staff, subscribers and guests....it's not real active there YET, but once there are enough signed up, the drafts will start.

It will become a little more difficult for me to manage them here, just as a function of time...but if others are interested, just start a signup thread and I am sure you will fill one up.

I think that the MDC NFBC style drafts are good practice for drafting under pressure, but a) they dont start in earnest until late Jan and b) the quality there is uneven and you have to realize you may not be looking at a representatve draft.

I agree that the Capt has kept this ship on course very well, and in even-handed fashion.
