I got one of my last choices, but I'm just happy to have a draft spot before the weekend!

Good Luck everyone!

Sounds good. I should be getting into Chicago around 6-7 PM

Very happy picking from the 5 spot. Had three satellite leagues where I picked 12, 13, and 12. Only one team I'm really happy with out of the three. But now I'll have to see how I do from the other side of the draft.

Well, its about time we move our League up to the top of the Message Board and get some discussion going.

Tough draft. I was not expecting to pick Santana at 7. I was hoping for Crawford, and expecting Utley to be there. Then I picked a boatload of old guys on my team - Manny, Abreu, Sexson, Giambi, T. Jones, Wickman, Aurilia. I'm hoping for no heart attacks this year.

Just one man's opinion, but I like Brent's team at 10 and Nick's team at 8. I have some work to do to stay with you guys.

Good luck.

I didn't record the entire draft, so I am in no position to critique teams at this point.

The draft definitely didn't go as I expected, and the ADP turned out to be a useless tool for this league. A lot of interesting strategies were used, so this looks to be a very challenging league.

A few teams went with the big risk big reward strategy, which is something I tried in 2004 with little success, so it will be interesting to see how things turn out for those teams in 2007.

Good Luck!

Hey....I drafted 6th. Nice meeting everyone I could talk to. I also feel like before the season Team 10 has a really good roster. Mighty Men, even though this was your first draft it seems like you have a lot of profit potential with Lofton, Victorino, Hart, Ensberg in rounds 12-15. Also like Padilla in round 21. Your team looks very good as well. Only thing I would be worried about is age but all of these guys seem durable. My first two drafts in NFBC I really was more drafting based on ADP and trying to get value. This season I just decided to get players that I think are going to have a good season.

Anyways...more discussion always welcome.

Great times in Chicago again this year!

It was great meeting all of those that I had time to chat with. I didnt record any part of the draft outside of my team so I cant really give an opinion on who had the best day but it should be a competitive league. See you on the league boards. Good luck all!
